Of course a gov't agency would never manipulate #s for political gain...

It's honestly beginning to feel like Orwell's 1984.  You can't trust anything anyone tells you.

I'm curious what you think a BLS bureaucrat would gain from manipulating these numbers.



I'm more curious why you can't see the bigger picture. Are you seriously implying that # can't be manipulated AND that 4-5 weeks before a presidential election there isn't reason to skew this # downward ?

Let me get this right you say he under reported how much he gave to charity and some how this makes him bad?
