I had the pleasure of watching my wife chase our foster Shiba around the yard trying to get her to drop our cat's fresh poop from her mouth.

She also steals bones from our own Shiba [kind of a bully if you ask me]. Then our Shiba [her name is actually Shiba] will trot off to "look at something" and when the foster doggie comes to investigate [because Shiba can't have ALL the fun, you know!] then Shiba goes back and gets her bone. HA! Who's the smart one now?

What is the deal with dogs and poop anyway?  Both of mine were big fans of the horse-variety.  This was a bigger problem before my daughter went to college, as she rides, and whenever we would go to the barn, there were plenty of "treats" for them.  And I did brush their teeth afterwards! 

And only one of the dogs is dumb enough to consider the litter box a source for "crunchy kitty treats".  Yuck.

And don't even get me started on the used feminine hygiene products he seeks out.  In a house of 3 females, his poop often has little cotton tufts!  Gross, gross, gross!!!!

she's weird alright, but not dumb.  I think she knows EXACTLY what she's doing.

I put a bowl with some water in the freezer for Z.  When it's ready, I put about 3 inches of water in the bowl and give it to her.  She loves the cold water, and as the ice melts she tries to get the ice chunk out of the bowl.  She ends up sticking her entire face in the bowl and blowing bubbles!  It's freakin' hilarious!

She's an 11 month old Aussie.  I'll try to get some video of her doing it tomorrow.
