So my plan is to be sitting at the computer when registration opens with credit card in hand. I'll try to get in on-line. If I don't make it in, then my fall back plan will be IMKY. Based on 2009 sell out, that will still be open.

If several of you drive together it really isn't that far. I drove from Chicago to Florida in two easy days last year.

If it was ME....I would drive my butt up there (even if I had to drive it all by myself) and volunteer so I could make sure I got in. IM is all about committing...so are you committed?

Edited to add: The major problem with the "online sign up" is the failure of Active.com to provide an effective site. You could be sitting at your computer the moment it opens up...or even a few minutes before...but so is everyone else and thus Active's site crashes...and you won't ever even get a chance to try to submit before it sells out.

I understand sites crash and things happend and many won't be able to get it on-line but that's ok. I have a back-up plan, IMKY. Actually 2 back-ups as if IMKY is sold out by the time WI goes on sale, then I'll try AZ.

To me, IM is not about committment, it's a about the challange. And so the challange will begin on-line while see if I can get in. :-)
