Wow, just did a couple of laps of the bike course. Should be fun. I hope, it is the hardest bike course I've done this year and this is the first 1/2 I've ever done. Nerves are catching up to me now.
I'm in for the half but just as a training session for bigger and badder things down the road. No taper her. It should top of a 16 to 18 hour week. Depending on this race and the speed of recovery I will drop my Victoria Full to a half marathon and the race the Silverman full distance in November.
Hey, anyone know of any good places to stay near the race site, ourn lodging has kind of fallen out and we need a place to stay for Friday and Saturday night, if you know of any good hotels that aren't too expensive in the area let me know. Thanks a bunch guys.
