Subject: RE: I am not having fun. I am certainly in the camp that says, "Suck It Up Dude" seriously; just need to focus on maintaining your proper mental balance during your training. Endurance Sports are just as much mental as they are physical and the mind will give out long before the body will. Take some time and focus on mental recovery and everything will be fine. I usually start feeling like that when I have too much monotany in my training and it starts to wear me down mentally. Rest assured, come taper time, you will definitely not be feeling this way. You will be like a race horse in the paddock kicking and rearing and very ready to race hard and fast. |
