You are right, I think the money could be spent better elsewhere. Here in New England, Accuweather misses the mark on the weather quite a bit. LOL You should have heard the ruckus between the New England BT members as the weekend of Oct 22nd approached for a fall foliage ride - they were all arguing about the weather between this site and weather from the TV or other sources...

Anyway

I really came back to tell Joel he CANNOT complain as Tidewater has a TV station there whose weather segment forecasts and shows also weather right down to the STREET level. That's cool.
Can't tell you if it's Ch 3, 10 or 13 though

(Those newscasters haven't changed ONE BIT since I was in high school.....*sigh*)

I have to second the sentiment on money being spent elsewhere though.

Perhaps I can have a hover box that appears over the icons for additional information to preface the icon?  THAT may be a cool idea to help

Or have an option to not display the weather at all. 

Both good ideas. I'd be interested to see how many people choose not to display weather at all.

Ron, I think the best thing for you to do is lock the thread so I stop complaining   Actually, giving folks an option to remove the weather from our individual logs would be nice.

Although i do like the accuweather service, i have discovered that their accuracy is staggering behind others like weather.com. As i know so many of us equate BT as top of the line, to continue to provide even better service to the members, i hope that BT can make the transition in to the next level of weather service.
