Rain and cold in the Fall I would consider a wick-type material, long-sleeve shirt, and perhaps a lightweight Goretex-type jacket. You can always wrap it around if you get warm and if it's not raining.

Glad to see people are ready for Sunday...

Question: Being my first Marathon, I am a little anxious on what to wear because of the rain... 'long sleeves? short sleeve? jacket?.......

Any suggestions?

I'm sure you already know this, having run in the cooler weather already, but you will want to remember gloves. If it isn't too cold I plan on using the cheap stretch to fit knit ones. That way if it gets warm I can get rid of them at a water stop.

Good luck! If you see me I will be the one looking for cake at mile 25. You'll be done before I get there though.
