Subject: RE: LA Fitness, Anytime Fitness, Bally's, Snap Fitness? Strange, but I have worked out at 3 of 4. Started working out again at Snap. A friend of mine owned it and it got me back to working out. It's basic, nothing else. No pool and the one I belonged to was about 2000 sq feet. Felt like working out in a basement. also, didn't have a pool. anytime was a step up, but again, no pool. Used an LA Fitness while on vacation and liked it. Had a 3 lane pool, many treadmills, bikes and spin class. Was about $39/month if I recall. Now, compare that to the $90/month I pay for my gym. It has an 8 lane pool, full gym, 20 treadmills, more classes than you could attend and an indoor track (important in NJ ). So, comparing gyms is hard when comparing to my home gym. |
