I bet the ones from the same box as you had when you were 6 would still taste the same...  I have always liked the twinkie, however, the ding dongs were the best.... (get your mind out of the gutter Dee....)

That looked really good. Until I got to this line, "So shortly after we had them over, I had surgery. " And now I'm wondering if there was a connection between the homemade ding-dongs and the need for surgery....

So its chocolate cake - with a fake filling thats looking like cream but really isnt... then dipped in chocolate?

Yeah, the real ones have fake chocolate cake and fake chocolate too....
