when i look at the pros there is a couple of differences:

1)  seat, its not that the seat is further forward its almost as if they are sitting on the edge of the seat
2)  if you notice a couple of them Craig Alexander, his knee is almost touching his elbow that is very very close to the torso
3)  the arms are a 90 degree angle

i will take any advice especially in fit to generate any additional power i can

i think the height is ok, but its like i have to pull the seat post forward to get the same effect...

KenD, what software do you use to calculate those angles?

I'd agree with dropping the saddle slightly but when you do that also push the saddle forward about the same amount.  Also, I disagree with pushing your bars forward.  I don't know why you would want to be more stretched out (Unless that is what you are more comfortable with).  What is the measurement of the nose of your saddle and your BB?

I think your fit looks fine, if you are going for comfort for longer distances. Looking at the pros is not a great idea for most of us... we just do not have the core strength and flexibility to stay in an aggresive position for that many miles.

Could you find a more aero position? Most definately, yes. Lower the front end to get a flatter back; remove a couple of spacers. If you're goal is primarily sprints, then just go ahead and do it. You may not be as comfortable, but as long as it doesn't impair your breathing, then you should. If you're going for a longer distances, such as 1/2's or Ironmans, then stay where you are.

well i mainly focus on olympic races and sprints.  its just this year that I want to try HIM and therefore the distance is longer.

to be honest i would like to find the position that produces the most amount of wattage.  but since ihave no power meter or can't test it in wind tunnel small adjustment is best i can do.  i will try to move seat up a tad but not until my race on sunday.  and probably go to fitting next week to get moved forward a little.  i definitely don't want to have a breathing issue.

my olympic is comming up on sept 27th and this gives me 6 solid weeks to improve the position and put in at least 500 miles in this position.  i think that will suffice....

for the race on sunday i will try to ride on the nose of the seat and see how i feel.
