Haha sorry CD but when I saw the title of this thread my immediate thought was you were regretting your vote for Obama (not sure why that popped into my head). After a few seconds I ran outside to see if I could catch a glimpse of a flying pig.

After a few minutes of watching I came back in and read the thread, ah good... the world is still in order.

I stopped at a gas station to fill my tank and the pump wasn't working. After turning it on and off a few times I decided I should go inside to ask if there was something wrong with it . When I turned towards the building I realized that it had burned down. I tried to fill my car at a gas station that had burned, literally, right to the ground and didn't even notice.

Yeah, I'm pretty good at this game.

Just awesome. Thank you for the great laugh today.

OK I will play.

I was cleaning out the ash pan or our wood stove and I wound up dropping a bunch of ash on the floor.  My bright idea... clean it up with the vacuum cleaner, I mean it is just ash right.... Wrong!!! There were still live embers in the ash and I ended up setting the vacuum cleaner on fire.  I was not allowed to touch the vacuum cleaner for years after that.

I think I could blow the whole appliance up but I still wouldn't get out of doing that chore...

HaHa Brian!  Yea, that was not smart but I think I can beat that.

Last summer we had some issues with our roof leaking and water coming in through one of the roof vents.  We had some drywall damage to our family room ceiling. We did an adequate patch job to stop the leak while working with the insurance company to pay for the damages.  The roof was replaced in October, and finally last week (on Wednesday) the drywaller repaired the ceiling, a 3-day job.  Last Friday I went out for a run and as I usually do, I place my running shorts in the sink with the water running.  I also had started the shower at the same time.  While waiting for the shower to warm I decided to log-in to Quicken to review our closing docs (we are refinancing).  When logging in, I enetered the wrong password, 3-times.  Yea, we all know how that goes.  I had to reset and totally forgot about the water running...then after spending a few minutes on-line I realized I had left the water running.  The bath is directly above the family room.  The bath is flooded.  The vanity drawers are full of water.  I go downstairs and water is leaking from the ceiling to the carpet.  Not the same area where we just repaired but close. The damage is worse than we had from the vent leaking.  Now that was stupid!Embarassed
