Now, if only I could get 4 seconds on the course back. Otherwise, I PR'ed today!

OH! I was crazy when I said I put 4:45 down... I put down around 5:45. Although I might have fudged a bit too much. I had Dave Young 5 places BEHIND me. In my defense, he didn't pass me on the swim until the last 25 meters.

It was fun... now that its over.

I PR'd this course but only because last year I did horrible. I shaved 6 minutes off of LY's time (I did a 1:18 this year). I realize, as I do every time I do a tri, that my bike is a big limiter.......I placed 60th overall in the swim.....then in the 200's overall in the bike and run.

Good job to everyone out there....and glad that I got to meet a few more triathletes. I saw Andy out there, but didn't know if he'd remeber me so I didn't approach him. Can't wait until the next race and getting to meet more of y'all.

I didnt stick around for the split results... anyone know if the results are posted out there somewhere ?

Tks... ended up at 1:17:09, pretty close to what I expected for my 2nd sprint.

Anybody know if there were official race photos taken?  It was my wife's first and I wanted to get a picture if they were available.

raceshots.net had a flyer in the goody bag but I dont recall seeing any photogs.

There was a note in our packet that said they would be up on raceshots.net within 3 days of the event. Hope they got her some good shots!

Same here.  I saw some Cooper people taking pictures but nothing looking like a professional setup.

Last year they were at the pool exit, at the S curve around mile 3 on the bike, and at the FL......can't recall seeing them either. I thought maybe I was going so fast that I missed them.
