I missed the flag. It seemed his intent was to cause ill-will. What is with all the pedophiles in this show. Its the second time that they had that type of character.

I agree the Russian mole ends up dead, probably shortly after an affair with the FBI agent, followed by him going off the deep end on a Russian spy suspect.

I thought the guy in the car that picked up the kids is tied to the Russians somehow. Did anyone notice the American flag on the hood of the car above the headlight?

He had a military sticker on the back of the car as well.

I didn't think he had anything to do with the Russians or the 'business', I thought it was just a storyline to show what kinds of effects the parents double life can have on the kids. That's an interesting thought.

Ohhhh...well, if the heat stays off her since they arrested the Russian, maybe the FBI agent will be axed from the show:
after an affair with the mole, he gets caught and convicted of being a spy. That might be my new theory!

I just with they weren't such close friends -- the FBI and KGB guy and gal. It kind of makes the storyline a bit implausible.

It'd be better if they just casually knew each other, like from the gym or PTA, rather than being next-door neighbors.

My guess is that down the line the Russian husband and the FBI agent's wife get to adding some heat into the Cold War. Obviously, there's trouble brewing in both marriages and they will both be looking for a little boom-chicka-wah-wah sooner or later. Then things will start getting really interesting.

I cant remember her exact quote, but it lead me to believe it was a test. To see if he would still defect/ go off grid.

I do. Something isn't right with him. Can't figure it out yet. But I suspect a big plot twist involving him.

I think so too. The "big twist" can't really be Elizabeth and her husband, then the show would be over...

Oh boy oh boy oh boy.. the plot thickens... A witch hunt has begun and it looks like Phillip might be caught before the mole. How long before the FBI guy gets caught with the mole in the safe house?
