hey there... can i join you? the minute thing would be great for me... i continuously upped my minutes over the last few weeks and 400 seems to be what i can do right now... including strength training and walking (and sometimes horseback riding) though... can i count those in or should i stick to swimming, running and cycling?

edit: typo... 400 not 500 mins lol

I exceeded week 2 goal nicely - felt great to accomplish this! Only 2 weeks left until my first sprint - anyone else have a race in the near future?

Great job. Congratulations! Where is your sprint? I was supposed to have one this past weekend but had to cancel because of travel costs... very disappointed as this was my second race and I was looking forward to improvements. I'm having a hard time keeping the momentum going with no tri's in the near future...

Again, great job on meeting your goal. Keep it up!

Since I have yet to come up with a goal and was out of town all last week, I am taking myself out of this challenge. I just can't seem to get things together this month Frown.

Hang in there. You're allowed to be out-of-sync once in awhile (or more than once in awhile). Do you have any races scheduled in the near future?

I started the week pretty well, but feel off after that.  I just have not had the motivation to run and bike.  I am hoping to do something tonight other that swim.

How'd the rest of your week go? Did you get any running or biking in? I've been having a hard time getting the biking in with the shorter days and weather getting windy; bummer 'cause I have a new bike that I haven't spent much time on yet. Did the stationary bike thing yesterday to get a workout in - ouch! I need someone to challenge me on swimming - motivation's low 'cause I've been struggling so much with it.

Well lets see, per my log.

Oct 1-7 - 1:36
Oct 8-14 - 5:05
Oct 15-21 - 2:58

So I was at 186 Minutes, 305 Minutes and 178 Minutes.  Well short of the 400 I thought I would get.

With the effort I was able to "sneak in" on Sunday, I beat my goal.  I am glad I didn't set something ambitious - two out of three weeks it has come down to working out Sunday afternoon/evening.

What is up with everyone else.

Hey Guys, I just discovered this thread and it sounds great. How about we set some targets for November.
I plan on 300 minutes per week.
