Well fell off the wagon for a couple of weeks but back on now.

Hit my cycle target this morning but a little concerned on run target - overestimated how much I'd be able to do in the month. Will try my best but expect I'll only manage another 10 miles this week.

Come on team!

So what are we looking like right now?  I'll most likely end up 95% for each since I decided I will taper this week!  My 2nd week killed me, darn business trip to the bahama's

Check out the September challenge sticky at the top of the forum ...... dead last .......

I'm at 178 miles for running as of this morning with a 12 miler tomorrow, a 12 on friday, and a 5 recovery on Saturday, so I'll get my running miles (followed by 20 on Sunday, but that doesn't count ....)

I'm taking off Thurs. and Friday from work since I worked the weekend and will be going out for some rides. Not sure if I feel like do 50 each day, but I'll get some miles in riding to get the numbers up!

I'm within 5 miles of my bike goal and 8 of my running.  Have a 5K on Saturday and a couple of short runs planned before then with Friday a complete rest day.  Should be finished with the bike part on Thursday evening.

Go Griffins!

2 out of 8 finished their goal ...... that's not so great ...... And for the first time ever, I didn't meet my goals in a challenge. I really only cared about the running, and it showed.

We are NOT LAST! wow, what a challenge. I missed my bike goal by less than 2 tiny miles (blame it on the metric system and the lack of time to recover). Like i wrote before, my running goal was ambitious. I now have learned that my shins dominate my will and that i have to listen to them. At least i've improoved in distance and (BONUS!!!) in speed. I am still slug slow but can run 5 min on a under 11 min pace wouhooo!

To all the griffins thanks for having me on the team and good job on getting on the moving side of things.

Welcome back! And good job getting in the workouts!

It's not about winning the challenge, it's about getting out there and metting your goals to get better.

Edit ........ But it would have put us in 3rd place instead of 5th ...
