There's the Bear we know and love. Much better than one asking how to get Shakira's latest song to play on his phone.

Yet, still, no one will answer my question. Who's Shakira, anyway, I'm looking to put obscure 60s rock songs on my phone, not this modern humpahumpa rap-crap that passes for music these days.

surfwallace - 2006-05-30 3:25 PM Hello moto: http://motorola.handango.com/entertainment/Home.jsp?siteId=522Ringtones are annoying, not the people. My proof: some people are annoying, but all ringtones are annoying. I programmed my wife's phone to play some annoying spy music because I knew that she would a) never figure out how to change it b) never spend the time to change it. But she gets embarassed everytime it plays.

OK, those are cheaper than Cingular, but still the selection is limited. I want to make my own, and I want to do it for free.

In-a-gadda-da-vida is NOT annoying, it's CLASSIC!

Get it to play Wagner's "Ride of the Valkyries". My old phone had that as a ring-tone. At least it was distinctive.

Thanks, Ashley, it worked great. Now I have "Helter Skelter" as a ringtone, as well as the opening cacophony of bells from Pink Floyd's "Time." I can hardly wait to sit next to Scout7 on the train.

That's sweet of you.

The bells I could probably handle, since that's not so much a ringtone. Besides, it's Floyd.

I am not a huge fan of the ring tone but some are very funny.  I also got a new phone and i am looking for the old classic phone ring on the old land lines.  Remember that ring?  I use Verizon but have no idea what to put in on the search.  "classic ring" doesn't work it just brings up songs.

can anyone help me?

i'm thinking that could be a VERY slippery slope for some.. just thinking outloud again..

There is a very good reason why I'm such a proponent of the vibrate setting, you know. I use it exclusively now. Not one complaint.
