Not practical for military but law enforcement could use it. You breach the door or window and have a cage that you put up against the breach. Unfortunately, you'd have to kill the emu every time because they are nearly impossible to catch. But hey, you have your post-raid barbecue!!! And some fine boot material. |

The couple was the next hearing he had and they were going to have an emu farm. Their fencing was woefully inadequate. I feel a little bad, but mostly, I feel like I saved a few people from the terror of emus. |

Would you want a violent criminal to have access to emus? Imagine the chaos. What about emu smuggling between states and nations? We need to address the carriage of military-style emus into Canada or Mexico. Can you imagine if a drug cartel loosed an emu in a Mexican police station? That would be bad! They get a lion, you get a honeybadger. They get a honeybadger, you get a (hell, I don't know what would come next). There is no sporting purpose for a lion, and it's impractical for self-defense, so they should just be banned outright. Even law enforcement shouldn't have them because it'll just encourage criminals to buy them on the black market. We should just stick with permitting civilians to own gnus and they should be happy with that! |
