I went to Sams today and bought the ingredients for a TON of brownies!

Uh.....Comet....I thought you couldn't buy the "special" brownie ingredients at Sams??

I'm out too, guys.  And Comet has already harassed me enough for everyone. 

I never said such a thing!! I said I was just giving you a hard time.

We'll miss both of you guys.

Finances/Family commitments/Training

Finances are a little tight right now, especially with IMCDA only a few weeks away (holy crap it is expensive to get to Idaho).  I've had offers from some very cool BTers to help with transportation and hotel, so that helped the financial issues.

Family commitments -  long holiday weekend.  Originally planned on bringing family to CapTex.  Became impossible due to other things (daughter's friend's birthday party, etc).  Didn't want to leave them behind for the three day weekend.

Training - Because of all my knee problems and bike problems in March and April, we got a little behind on my long bike rides.  Need to do a century ride this Saturday.  Thus, even if I drove up to CapTex Sunday, racing Monday would be risky from an injury perspective, not to mention my performance would probably not be very good.  With only a few weeks until CDA, I decided it was best to play it safe.

I am bummed because CapTex was my first race ever and it is a GREAT event.  But this is the right decision. 

HELL NO! You want them you have to come up and get them!

Maybe after CDA you might get a package.

There are two people...(I won't mention any names)...but they are not coming to the race...and well...they are going to miss out on lots of FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  AND, they are going to miss out on meeting....ME!!!!   LOL

But seriously...it SUX that you two aren't coming...(I understand Brandt)...we will miss you and Bill!!!!!  I guess we'll have to meet another time.    Have a great holiday weekend!!! 

Did I mention that BT'ers RULE and are going to take over the CAPTEXTRI!!!!!

We all should have gotten BT (temporary) tattoos to wear!  Why am I just thinking of this NOW??
