I'm Rachel - a bit late to this because I ran the GC half marathon yesterday. Casie did you run the full on the GC by any chance...? Anyway, goals....I guess lets go with 15 stages, 600 km. I'll get to that spreadsheet now.... Congratulations! You get Scooby Doo'ed again? and Casie is a great candidate for the Australasian Mafia!!! Go Antipodes! No Scooby Dooing this time! In fact I haven't raced a hm for about 6 years and I smashed my previous PB by about 25 minutes! |

Melon Presser 52116 | Subject: RE: Team Sky Official Thread 32+ min in for Team Sky, yeaaaaah! And our young little juicy team is doing pretty damn well for itself in Le Tour ... also, Team Sky raises and contributes lots of money for preservation of the Amazon basin through the WWF. It's so beautiful it makes me just want to shed my pearly tears all over those yummy gorgeous piglets. |

Master 1346 Gold Coast | Subject: RE: Team Sky Official Thread I am actually doing a very poor job of contributing but I get my bike back from a service tonight and pedals for my new bike this week I hope so I will get my act together I promise! As for TdF, I am relying on everyone on here to keep me up to date as I havn't managed to watch any past the first stage and the random bike of tractors from yesterday.... Also, cyclists aren't really my favourite type of piglet so I'll leave them all for you Yanti |

Elite 3913 far northern CA | Subject: RE: Team Sky Official Thread I went on a fun ride with the boys that live on "the hill." We all live up a very steep grade. I usually drive to the bottom and ride from there when I am riding by myself. Safety in numbers, so it was fun! Thank goodness it was a short ride because....OUCH!!!! The return up the hill hurt!!!! |

No, it doesn't at all LOL I biked AND swam this morning! Can I just say that cycling, finishing with a swim but then cycling home wet in the winter was not the best idea I have ever had. The pool was beautiful and warm but I froze my butt off in the 10 min ride home after! A few ticks for challenges though |

Elite 2640 Ontario, Canada | Subject: RE: Team Sky Official Thread I visited the hand specialist today and have been told to continue resting for at least another 10-14 days... Angry because I have a triathlon in that time period and can't bike or swim properly. I was hoping to heal up much sooner than that and I am tired of riding my spinner upright because it causes excessive extension in my low back. I am going to have to withdraw... Good luck with the challenge team!! *Cross posting to the sexes challenge, sorry for redundancy! |

Regular 110 King George, VA | Subject: RE: Team Sky Official Thread Sorry we've lost a teammate! Well, I missed my session yesterday, but got two in today, so I'm still on pace for 21 sessions to match the 21 TdF stages! I stopped by LBS today to pick up an aero helmet for this weekend's tri, but they recently sold "it" (the only one in stock), so I did some window shopping for my first tri bike (next spring or the following) - there are some REALLY cool bikes there (Felt, Trek, Cannondale). My current bike is a 2005 Specialized Roubaix with clip-on aero bars. |

Bike talk ... drooooool ... were you looking at the Cannondale Slice? And congrats on your pretty pink star! Those are the best. |

How are you coming along on your goals? Cheers! Sprint Tri this morning - 3rd in AG!! Shaved 5 minutes off last year's time! It appears running every day in June has really paid off: 8:33 pace last year / 7:28 pace this year. A little faster on the bike as well. Oly Tri tomorrow - not the ideal tapper, but oh well. They are local tri's; hard to pass up. |

I was shocked by a $7K Trek - that was about the sleekest bike I've ever seen in person (more impressive looking IMO than a Cervelo P4). |
