MotoQueen 13195 | Subject: RE: February Challenge Team Leaders Thread D001 - 2008-02-15 8:07 PM kns57 - 2008-02-15 10:10 AM Dee, I noticed that the date on the Swimming Rocks spreadsheet is off. Today is the 15th of the month and the little peach box says that it is the 14th so the percentage showing is off. I think this could throw off someone who is watching that percentage to see where they stand for the month. I hadn't noticed until last night Frank mentioned where he was compared to the percentage and I said my team spreadsheet had a different percentage and sure enough theirs had the right day and mine did not. And I don't know how to change that formula...so help! The formulas were changed. (I don't know if someone did this, playing "what if" scenarios, or it it was a Google glitch.) But that meant the box stopped updating automatically. I've put the formulas back in. So it will update automatically again. Thanks, you are great! |

If she is, I'm ok with her subtracting the mileage she missed on those workouts. Or adjusting the training plan, and recalculating her goal based on the revision. Whatever works best for her is OK. D001 - 2008-02-15 9:12 PM Artemis - 2008-02-14 6:24 PM Hi Jen, Sorry for the delay in replying. I was offline for a few days. (Yes, because of work....) Don't update anything yet.... When Stacie is able to run again, subtract the number of days that she missed, and adjust her mileage accordingly. For example, say she misses 8 days: 29 - 8 = 21 days during February that she *could* run. 21/29 = 72.4% So her adjusted goal would be 72.4% of her original goal. How's that for a plan? Dee Hey Dee, someone on my team (Stacie - dimplespoo) has had the flu for at least a week now and hasn't been able to run. What's the verdict on her reducing her mileage? No problem. Stacie's going to see how she's doing this weekend and see how much she wants to adjust. I'll let you know what we decide. Thanks, Dee! Sounds good. Stacie seems to be on top of how she wants to change her mileage. I just wanted to make sure that a goal change was ok. |

Champion 23360 Taser-World | Subject: RE: February Challenge Team Leaders Thread Roster / Spreadsheet updates: I've dropped two participants from the roster/ spreadsheets: 1) LEMmings - Shaun82 hasn't logged on since the end of January, when he signed up for the challenge. He hasn't logged any training at all this month. 2) PFFT - Trierjen hasn't logged on since Feb 1st. She hasn't logged any training at all this month. Since neither one has been on BT in over 2 weeks, I figure they're not participating in the Challenge this month. I've marked them as "dropped" on the spreadsheets. It looks like everyone else who signed up for the Challenge has been logging training. However, if you have any concerns about team members who appear "missing," let me know and we'll try to find them. Dee |

MotoQueen 13195 | Subject: RE: February Challenge Team Leaders Thread Dee, I just found out that Madkat lost a close friend last week. I've asked her if she would like me to find out about adjusting her goal, but not sure if I will hear from her, for she hasn't responded to anything this month. I'm thinking that if we knocked her goal down by 33% to cover the last third of the month since the friend died. |

If she comes back and tells us what she wants to do, we'll just go with that.... (She can adjust her goal, or even withdraw - whatever is better for her.) I'd prefer not to adjust her goal for her yet. There's still a week left in the month, so let's wait and see what happens. So, is it time for us to begin the great chat of the March Challenge yet? I little March Madness perhaps? If only you knew how stressed out I am.... I've been working 14-16 hours per day, seven days a week. I haven't had a day off (including Sat and Sun) since January 2nd. Therefore, I announced previously that I wouldn't be running the March challenge. Unfortunately, I simply don't have time. HOWEVER, Cat is going to organize one! She just posted her Peeps challenge. I've just stickied the thread to the top of the forum. Yay Cat! |

MotoQueen 13195 | Subject: RE: February Challenge Team Leaders Thread Dee, jacsuza injured herself last night, deep cut and told to not get it wet for a couple of days. We need to change her goal from 8:15 to 6:40. She is at 6:04 right now but felt that she should not ask for the whole time, for she did not think she would make the 8:15 even if she swam every day this week. she has dealt with sick children also. So, I have adjusted her goal to 6:40 |
