Not sure why just those fingers although I would guess it would have to do with your hand position. As far as only one side, more likely than not it has to do with the fact that your stroke is unbalanced. Everyone typically has a strong side when you are swimming (easier to breathe on one side ) and it is not uncommon to put more strain on one side or the other (either compensating with the strong arm by pulling harder to make up for the other side or forcing the weaker arm to pull as hard as the strong side when it's not as able to do so ). It might not hurt to do some drills with a moderate pull and have someone watch what's going on with your stroke. It's hard to self-diagnose (at least for me ). |
