CHR15, what sort of target is 1380 mins? 21 stages, that's just over an hour a stage. You're getting soft man. Might beat me mileage wise though, on your FLAT rides.

I smell DY-NAS-TY!!!  That's dynasty, not "da nasty". 

With July being my big month for IMKY bike training, the challenge couldn't have come at a better time.  I'm even kicking off the tour tomorrow with a 112mi bike ride.

And I even get to be on a team with the internationally renowned hottie herself, Cat.  Sweet.

Aaaw schucks... I posted the teams and went to say hello to my one, and realised I wa surrounded by men... lovely lovely men....

Im sure someone will think I planned it, and Im not complaining  

Morning - I couldnt sleep in!!! I should still be in bed (unless I was going to work but its a weekend)

Well I never claimed to be smart!  It was also my 2nd time (1st race) in a wetsuit!  I figure I can only get better from here...

I let more than one team take victory... Im not that mean!!!

And then a year later the teams remember they won, and not who else did and each claim victory for the preceding year... could make for some interesting banter when this thing heats up!  

Not all of the teams no - off he top of my head anyway... but I still have the results somewhere...

Great job getting your first one in... anyone up and riding yet this weekend? My first ride will be Monday.. Ive got smaller goals last year after getting sick last year...

I figured training + lack of sleep + middle of winter I might have to play it safe this time around!

I'm Bill, and I think I said I was in for 12 stages.  Miles and minutes?  I'm not sure.  I've pieced together a training plan for the next three weeks, so we'll see.  I'll be getting my first ride in on my 07 Masi Gran Corsa this afternoon, but this Wimbledon final is stalling that a little.  Hopefully, I'll be doing my last few stages this month on  a tri-bike that I'm building.  Almost all the parts are here!

Well, if there can be multiple winning teams, then I guess I have to take back my earlier comments.  I figured there would be some tie breaker based on who went over the most or who got to 100% the fastest.  So all we have to do is get everyone to their goal.  Is there some way to give team mates miles if you go over?  I admit I haven't read the main thread to know all the rules. 

I did, however, start my challenge goal with 50 miles this morning.  Which is 1/7th of my overall goal.

Nope your a TDF cyclist... you have to finish what you signed up for... having said that I have included up front a clause for it people get sick or injured so that should make it more balanced if someone does have difficulty.

And we're off.... sort of.  Thunderstorms on a Sunday afternoon?  C'mon.  Stage 1 for me was done on the trainer, with a mile brick to keep it all triathlonish.  It's time for a beer and Stage 2 on the Tivo.
