LittleCat - 2008-10-28 9:22 PM I use arm warmers alot. Sometimes just little black gloves can help too. I buy knit stretchy gloves at Target, they cost $1.49 for 2 pairs. I keep a pair tucked in my fuel belt in the fall and winter, or running on the coast when fog can come in fast and drop the temps.

Thanks for the heads-up!  I dropped by Target at lunch and picked up 2 2-packs, which I will take with me Sunday morning as a surprise to the three ladies I'm carpooling to the marathon with.  They are the perfect item to take the chill off, but not to worry about if I lose along the way.

Just bought a pair for an early Oct bike ride, and I would recommend them.  Worked like a charm (early AM downhills, brrrrr).  I did feel like I looked a bit too like Madonna--luckily, I didn't wear a cone bra.

Haven't tried them yet for running.  I'm not usually out early enough or long enough to need them.  This is of course, a sad commentary on my running, not the arm warmers.
