Then I found out my pool closes (Canadian Police College) indefinitely... So I'm swimming at Mooneys Bay (across the swim area - 200+ meters each way...!); Meechers are too fast and too competitive for me. Couple of Somersault sprints down so far this year - Olympic at the 'National Capital' and then Timberman in August... I really need to get to the Gats a few more times.....! M Hey! I am doing Timberman too!! Come to the Gats....its Nirvana....... |

I'm targeting an Olympic next year so having folks to train with would be great! What masters swim programs to people participate in over the winter months? Jay. |

Re masters...I think the most important thing to consider is proximity. No matter how good the group is if its too inconvenient to get there regularly there is not much point right?? |

Great idea Helen - but for me I'm afraid I have the opposite problem you have - I am now able to run but still can't ride without aggravating the injury. Great idea though and I hope you can get a few riders. I still hope to get some riding in before ski season but it will just be short rides at this point. D |
