But aren't you wearing a jacket in your avatar?

Woo hoo, Captain Stacie! Hopefully the rest of our team will show up by Monday. It's not even June yet and the other team has about 100 posts already. I guess that was the "chatty" team?

Well, all three teams are set up to be chatty.... I divided the chatty people up. Robert was just post padding on the Team 1 thread. He wanted us to get a good head start. So it's mostly just him, talking to himself. LOL Don't worry, you've got at least 5 chatters on this team.

I know! Robert is good at that!

Hi all,
Good luck for the challenge! I don't know anyone in here so I will abstain from voting for captain. Also am happy to go with whatever the team decides for the name: I think Team Trifecta is pretty good.
I'm now 5 weeks from my first half marathon, so this challeng will take me right up to the first few days of race week. 800 mins is a lot for me, but I'm not doing any tri training, so it's all run focus. There's going to be a few long runs in there to make up to 800!

Hello all...your all probably asleep right about now. This is going to be a fun challenge as I am loving running at the moment. I haven't figured out a goal yet so I had better get to it. Still not the first so I have a little time.
I agree, Stacy would be a great captain...very motivational in the swim challenge.
Let's have some fun.

Hello Group - I am excited to be part of my first challenge group.  Just an FYI so you don't think I am not participating, I have my first HIM June 7.  So not a lot of running as I will be tapering this week plus I will have limited email until I get home on Monday.  I do my best posting at work.  LOL

But once I'm home, I'll be posting away.

One question, when do I make updates to the spreadsheet?  Weekly or each time I run?  And is there a cutoff day to make updates.  For instance, I will have some running next weekend but I may not be able to up the spreadsheet until Tues.

And is our team name, Team Trifecta?

Fear is a good motivator.

You'll be fine. And yes, the point of the challenge is to challenge yourself. (But don't push to the point of injury.)

Worst that can happen -- you fall short of your goal, but probably end up setting a PB for running distance.
Best that can happen -- you hit your goal and decide to run an Ultra Marathon next month.

Ah, I should have included that in the writeup.

Some people like updating the spreadsheet every time they work out. Others like to do it weekly. Either way is OK.

I'll provide a weekly update on the Team Standings. I try to do this on Sundays. (But it depends upon my schedule.) This means that the Spreadsheets should be updated by Saturday night, your local time.

Worst case, you're away and get your update in late. It just won't be included in the weekly standings.... Just submit it when you get back.

Hi everyone.  I woke up this morning ready to start my mileage.  Didn't realize I was a day early.  Guess I can consider that 4 mile a warm-up.  Looking forward to the challenge and your motivation.  I need it!  Haven't done a whole lot since my last tri so I'm hoping to focus on my running.
