REGISTER!!  For the love of God!  I swear, you will have fun and you'll finally get to meet some of us BT'ers.

I've decided to switch my schedule up a bit.  I'm passing on the Kensington Tri that is Sunday, June 28th and I'm going to do this one instead.  So, I'll be there too.

It'll be a blast!  I promise.  Do it!

hahahaha OK OK!  Tomorrow is pay day so it will have to wait another day...  but i appreciate all the kicks in the butt.  Judging by the times of last year I'm going to be behind by quite a bit... but as long as I eventually get across that finish ( within the same day would be nice haha ) then it will all be worth it.

thanks again gang!

If anybody is in the 50-55 year old age group just stay home. Don't bother coming to this one. It won't be any fun. The water is cold, the weather will be hot, the bugs will be out. Nasty. Just stay home. Wink

Just treat it like a game of golf.  You're not competing against other people, you're competing against the course.  No need to worry how others are going to finish.. just worry about doing your best on the course.

So it's pay day.  Did you register yet?       Just do this thing.  Crossing the finish line will be an amazing feeling, regardless of your time.

Also, BT is THE MOST encouraging/supportive group of people I have ever had in my life.  And I am not overstating things, at all.  People of all levels are welcome when we gather because the number 1 rule is fun.  After this tri, please, please, please try to come out and play with us.  You won't regret it.

OK, this damn achillies thing won't heal. I am doing the swim portion of Big Fish tomorrow (my first 1,500m OWS ever!) then I will have to stop. Since I can't participate in Wednesday's race, I signed-up to volunteer. I am not officially a Bike Marshall! So make sure you don't try to steal someone else's bike, because I will catch you ...

I look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow and Wednesday!!!!

I saw a forecast for 88. Hopefully I still have enough energy to jump back into the lake to cool off!

Good news! The water warmed up. I didn't get a number but I was able to swim without it taking my breath away.

Hello Susan,

From the maps, it looks like the bike and the run will be almost exactly what we practiced a few weeks ago.  The swim will take place in Kent Lake (which is the lake we parked at).

Here are the maps:
