Vandevelde crashed this morning, officials held the race because it sounds like a fan caused it. Lance had mechanical problems, he caught up. Other than that, not much. How'd the fan cause it? What stage was that back in 99 when some jerk jumped out in-front of the leader to snap a picture? I was watching that from a hotel room near Salzburg a few hours before my sisters wedding and remember thinking "I'd get-up and start stomping that fool with my cleats!" Uh oh, Lance had mechanical problems...Actually, he just had to take another urine sample... Not sure. They didn't know exactly what happened. I think it was pretty early in the stage. |

They are beautiful. |

These flat stages are 2 minutes of excitement for 4-5 hours of coverage! haha I watch EVERY stage if I can... but I was out tonight anda little late getting home! Your British friends are going to be a little jealous if they see that Nah they will just ask more questions! And then probably give me a hard time... |

It'll getcha! Got to be a pretty adventurous snail to climb one of those. Here's a serious question. My runner beans grow anticlockwise up my bamboo poles. Take it they grow clockwise down there? Or is it something to do with following the sun? Hmmm! I need to ponder on that. Any ideas whilst this BORING race is on? Don't think I'll be able to sleep tonight without knowing the answer. Suppose I could always replay this Stage at bedtime. |

They had a segment yesterday about crashing and showing all the pictures. Well as the saying goes - there are those that have crashed and those that will crash. I try to get all mine out of the way on the mtn bike because it does not hurt as much Lol mine are usually at low speeds... the impact is hard but the superficial damage is less... |
