wgraves7582 - 2010-03-01 6:36 AM Caught me off guard - afternoon??? - then I noticed it is afternoon in England - glad I didn't miss lunch - lol!

X2....  Left me wondering how he got back from a bike ride before the sun had even risen on the West Coast.  For a second, I was evaluating my training dedication as I sat here waking up with a cup of coffee.

Hopefully, short bike ride and a swim today.  Legs are a little tired today after a 5k race with my wife yesterday.  But, the good news, I think I'm finally shaking this IT issue!!!!!

Okay, my goals are up.  Trying to keep my workouts fairly balanced this month or at least better balanced than last month!  Laughing

However, today is a rest day after my long run yesterday.   Unless of course I am just completely motivated to do SOMETHING this afternoon!  Wink

You could bake up some chocolate chip cookies and send them to us all for a taste testing if you are really motivated Dee

But then I would have to taste test them and I already had raspberry white chocolate cheesecake yesterday!  well, half a slice since I split it with DH    Laughing

Just know that they are tasty and send them out Wink  I know an impossible feat but it sounds good!

Okay Bill, we'll see.  But I am thinking a trip to the local bike shop instead!  But for now I have to go to work to try and save a little more money for a new bike!  See you later!

I like the idea of a team name but I don't know if I like the idea for a name so far.  Not a big fan of anything cowboy/girl related, except for maybe one thing.  Other than that one thing, we try to stay away from the "C" word (as we call it) around here.  How about t.w.i.s.t.e.r. - Tri-West Is Stompin Those Eastern Rats.  We'd better make sure we beat them though or we'd never live it down. I don't know, I'm trying to be creative here but not doing very well. Anyone else have any ideas for a team name? I'll go with whatever the team decides.

I'm enjoying the challenge forum, even though my team lost last month. It helped me stick to my goal even when I was down for part of the month after surgery.  If it weren't for the challenge I know I wouldn't have stuck to my goal and I wouldn't be ready for my first race coming up this season.
My main goal for the month is to step up my swimming, although I am also stepping up my running and biking and hoping to shed a few pounds too.  I hope everyone has a good month and no one gets sick.

brick94513 - 2010-02-28 7:58 PM Alright, got my goals in the spreadsheet.  If I make my swim goal, it will be my biggest month ever!  Oh God, what was I thinking?

Maybe I should up my swim goal and we can get some serious competition going.

I set a fairly challenging goal of 25,000 yards, but it would be a heck of a lot of fun to have a swimming duel.

Hey all! It's great to see some familiar faces as well as new ones!  I've been out of the challenges for a few months now and am ready to get back in the game.  I guess I should set some goals...Hmmm, I'll have to work on that as I have no clue what I'm doing this year...we recently decided to uproot and are about to move back to the Mainland so things have been and are getting even more hectic around here! Anyway, I am in my last week of classes so it's quite busy for me but after this week I will have lots of time to play on here ~ yeah!!! With that said, I must go work on my term paper that is due!!!

wgraves7582 - 2010-03-01 10:43 AM Alright Westeners - I am getting ready to head out and once I arrive home I am saddling up the bike for a ride (like the western theme in there?)

Have a great evening.  One thing you will learn about me is that my post count padding occurs 7:30-5:00pm M-F for the most part.  Sad but true!

Chat with you guys tomorrow.

Set those goals and kick it into high gear!

I hear ya...since I stopped working my computer time and email catch up time has been significantly reduced!!
