Good morning team A!!

Name: Rhoda
Age: 35
Location: Albany, NY.  (Originally from Buffalo, NY and would much rather say I'm from there than Albany...)
Tri Experience: My first tri was Aug 2005.  Took the next summer off.  Started back the next summer and I've been doing at least one sprint a season since.  Last year I did 2 sprints and one Oly.
2010 remaining races: 1 sprint tri, one Oly - my redemtption race to make up for last year's craptastic performance.  Probably another tri in there, just not sure sprint or Oly.  And I'd like to do a Century this fall.
Words you live/train by:  I really need to get some of these... I'm just too busy most days flying by the seat of my pants.  Wink
2010 goal...To feel good about my performance at the CLT Oly in August.  Leading up to that will mean consistent training, something I lacked last year.

I have to say...  April is not starting off well for me!  We are leaving today to head to Buffalo for the weekend.  I forgot my running sneaks at home!! Grrrr!  I wanted to get a run in this afternoon before leaving and obviously need them while I am there.  Can't have 4 days of inactivity.    Looks like I'm heading home at some point...  sigh...

Good morning team!

Ok, I finally decided on some goals.  They're basically the same as last month except I'm dropping my run mileage since I'm tapering, and replacing my strength training goal with a swim goal, which I only plan to do after my marathon.

With that in mind, I have a 6-mile tempo run planned for tonight.  I'm really excited since it's really nice out today!!

Have a great outside run today, Missy!  I have decided to take a really long lunch to run outside too when I go home to get my poor running sneakers.  The sun if FINALLY starting to peek out so how can I resist?!

Age: 43
Location: Buffalo, NY
Tri Experience: 1 Xterra Long Course
2010 remaining races: TransIowa, Underground Railroad Bike Tour (30 Days with a friend), and many other local bike races.  Runs will depend on my leg.  Tris will depend on runs .  Swimming - I might be convinced by a friend to do an open water race (for the experience not for the competition because I suck at swimming!) as well
Words you live/train by:  They are in my signature line as well

I know, it's so funny!  The first sign of spring, and everyone comes out of hibernation!  I dont' think I've seen so many runners and cyclists just out and about EVERYWHERE yesterday!  And it promises to continue at least through Monday!  *Fingers crossed*

yogachic - 2010-03-31 9:26 PM Name: Melissa #3?  (or Missy so that there's a little less confusion)
Age: 28
Location: Chicago
Tri Experience: This is my second year...  Last year I caught the tri bug and did a sprint and 3 oly's.  And 2 half marathons, but I guess those aren't tris Wink
2010 remaining races: I'm doing my first marathon at the end of April.  I'm planning on doing a sprint in May, a 200-mile relay race (running) and an Oly in June, my first HIM in July, and another marathon in Oct.  I'll probably attempt a century sometime this summer as well.  I'm sure I'll get talked into throwing in some HM's in there too.
Words you live/train by:  Do your best, and have fun!

2010 goal Finish all my races smiling and wanting to do another.

Not sure what my goals for April are.  My run goal will probably be lower than it usually is since I'm tapering for my marathon.  I've been meaning to build my bike base for about 2 months and it hasn't been working.  Hopefully now that the weather's getting nicer, it won't be such a pain!  I should probably swim, huh?  . . . Once I figure it out, I'll update the spreadsheet.

I think when we met you were just starting your marathon plan.  Wow, now the big day is just around the corner.  You must be excited!

Good morning everyone!  Well the forecast is for rain, rain, and more rain.  So, with the trails a mess, I decided to break the MTB down.  Full maintenance before race season.  Good timing since I found a bunch of broken or nearly broken partsFrown

Bill, I'm sure you can appreciate this.  Sending my race wheels in for a face lift.  I'm keeping my DT 240 hubs, but having them laced to new DT XR 400 hoops (builder steered me away from Stans), DT Aerolite spokes, and ceramic bearings.  I'm pretty excited to finally have a training and race wheelstes!!!!

Alright I filled in as many names as I remember off the top of my head.  You will notice nicknames or such but that is how I refer to them to avoid confusion.  Please correct any or add for future reference

Yes... I have the most unoriginal BT.com name in all of BT.com.  Yes, it's my name.  It's been a few years since I signed up, but I don't remember a place where they asked you to make up your "Screen name".
