Then it looks like the last weekend of October should be the winner.  The First Annual Beginner Triathlete Halloween Harvest Moon Festival.

I am sorry to say that this year I am quite the traveller. I am doing a Halloween fun run in my Disney Store Donald Duck costume (my friends and I are different characters) and that week I am leaving for Athens (Greece) to do the marathon. Yes, right after my first iron. I won't be able to travel 3 weeks in a row.

I don't want to miss the party!!

I really can't. My GURU won't allow it. One month before race. I can't waste a training weekend for drinking. (I can't believe I'm typing this...)

Did I read somewhere you are doing the Great Floridian?  I ride out there all the time.  Make sure you are ready for short steep hills and some wind.  I'm doing 100 out there on Sunday with a friend training for IMLP.  Great place to ride.

I say we reschedule and I'll just book a block of rooms at some swanky hotel in Waikiki.

Rheros if you are paying for the rooms I am there in a heartbeat. I spent 2 weeks in HI (3days in Waikiki and 11 in Maui)

I kinda' like the Woodstockian par-tay in the Virginny sticks.

I can book - not pay!! LOL.... wonder how many people can crash on my floor though!
