Emmanem - 2010-10-11 3:17 PM mbasta - 2010-10-11 3:13 PM Snowy top page I wish SC got snow and not the 24 hours of snow like we had this past winter. I think 4 weeks of snow would be perfect. Just enough time to have fun doing winter activites and not long enough to get fed up with the inconvenience it causes. It can snow here anywhere from oct 31 - apr 13 in my experience. Last year we were lucky and got very little. I got married on Feb 6 and you would never know it was winter in the pictures. |

I don't think I could do winter from end of october to mid april. I'm very fond of fall and spring weather. However, my friend John who lives in Maryland and goes to Clemson would kill for snow everyday. 2 things he gets out of bed before 11 for unless he has class to go to are Christmas and snow and he acts like a 5 year old for both lol |

I've only recently updated my logs...had a final last week so I've been BT MIA for a few weeks more or less. |

I'm not aware of a rainbow star unless it is something new they added. I've seen a rainbow of stars though (one of each color). They're very pretty. But it only takes a couple of posts and then another star pops up and the perfect rainbow is ruined. |

Halloween just happens to be my favorite day(s) of the year to go with my season! I rank the seasons as follows from favorite to least favorite: Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter. To me the perfect winter is snow the week before Christmas that lasts until the week after new year. Then it should go straight into spring. Any longer than that and I don't like winter any more. So of course I live somewhere where winter lasts 5 months out of the year. |

GI...so lots of poop, vomit, blood...abdominal pain...haha. Its all blood and guts. I find it fascinating in a way but its not what I would want to do for a living. I admire anyone that is willing to put up with the demands of the medical profession. They deserve every penny they are paid and often I think they aren't paid enough. Unfortunately I think with the health care "reform" taking place in the US the pay for medical professionals will go down. |

Of course, Bill has it rigged so people who live in the Frozen Tundra have a points advantage..... |

I have to have at least a little snow and the only snow they get in Florida is fake. And as far as the winter challenge goes, I know what you're talking about. I remember looking at the challenge last winter and knew I didn't have a chance at winning it. It just doesn't get cold enough when you're comparing it to some other areas of the country like Montana or the Great Lakes areas or Buffalo. Plus we had a pretty mild winter so that didn't help any either. |
