This time of year and the spring... the lady bug channel.

I have lots of night scented, night blooming plants so we often have the MOTHRA channel

I can go on and on and on.

I have gotten a PHD in what you can watch on that porch.

did I mention the lightening bug channel? It is fascinating.

This time of year, near sunset, is the buzzard (or should we call them turkey vultures) or as the locals call them Lake Lure Raptors?
There are HUNDREDS (no exaggeration here) circling. They are fabulous flighers and soar effortlessly.

anyway, last year we started the new cabins.

turns out if people want to "get away from it all" the do NOT mean getting away from Wifi or HDTV or cell service (HAH). or any of that.

so we sucked it up and got satellite TV. (too bad on the Wifi or cell service) HAH!~

We live in the MOUNTAINS! Cell service is spotty- Deal!

Anyway, we had to get satellite to the cabins (cable service is another story) and after the initial hook up for "motel rate" it was mere dollars per extra house.

we bit the bullet and hooked our house up.

There have definatly been less evenings spent on the porch.

However, this summer was too hot to sit out there, we would have just gone next door and watched TV anyway.

Ooooh the movie must be over now.

Pitiful snuffly DH is now upstairs.

Meaning that James Bond movie is over

I don't know how many Crushers there are but

Aint none of them (except maybe Yanti) who has come close to any of us in posting numbers and having lives at the same time.
