My daughter (who is 2 almost 3) told me last night that I was her best friend. My allergies must have started acting up at the same time because my eyes watered a little. Hopefully she feels the same way when she is 12 almost 13.

Cute story #2, while looking at new houses my wife and mother-in-law were in the sales office of the new neighborhood with my daughter. They were listening to the sales agent's pitch when in walked another lady interested in information. My daughter jumped down out of her chair and handed the lady a brochure and stuck out her hand and said "Hi, I'm Lilly. I'm 2". They wanted to hire her right there on the spot.

You guys are all telling cute little things for when they are young... I have a 7 year old boy and last fall (he was 6), I told him to take a shower. Well I didnt hear the water running so I went in to see what he was doing. He is sitting in the floor touching himself, to which I said. What are you doing son, his response "touching my b@lls". To which I said "get in the shower son and leave those things alone....

And no I didnt teach him that word

My only boy turns one this week - after seeing the way he yanks on himself (to the point that it makes my husband cringe) I see men in a whole new light - I mean he started this when he was only a few months old. Men have no choice - they are pre-destined to love themselves too much.

This has nothing to do with cute sayings but my daughter has been home from school (Kindergarten) for 2 1/2 hours and she has been playing happily by herself this whole time. I'm starting to feel guilty! I keep checking on her, but she is happy as can be playing with her horses and barn, looking at books and practicing her new reading skills, and writing "letters" to her friends. (Watching kids learn to read and write is an amazing thing!) I think I need a puppy or something!

You have so much to look forward to, I almost envy you. My son is always having things come out of his mouth that I secretly laugh at. Last week I took him and a friend of his to BW3's to eat and play games. They start talking in the back seat about how they have seen their (respective) mommies naked, and seeing their boobies and butts. I had to alright kids change the subject.

My all time favorite was when my son was 3, and after taking a shower with me to get clean. Ran out and exclaimed to his mother and her friends that "daddy had a tail". I am pretty proud of that one myself...
