Jeff and Andy, I know Jeff already mentioned a training run for this race. I would enjoy that tremendously, also feel that it would build some confidence in myself to run with someone else. I live in New Tampa, literally across the street from Flatwoods. I know this week will be hectic for Jeff since you got the Sarasota Olympic Distance Tri this weekend. I again am contemplating on watching this and cheering you on Jeff. However have to convince wife to go along. We are in desperate need of a rental house. Our lease expires on the 31st and we still haven't got a place to live. So if we aren't house looking,  my warriors and I and wife will be cheering you on big time...

Well whenever is clever with me. I am willing to commute anywhere for this run, just let me know a time and date, and I'll be there. God's Speed!

I work close to Flatwoods...was gonna do a bike/run tonight at the Suncoast but I can always do it at Flatwoods instead.  I get out of work around 530 so I can be up at Flatwoods by about 6.  Gonna do about 15 miles on the bike and then a run after that...don't know how long just yet.  Probably about 3 miles.  Bike should take me less than an hour...so I'd be ready to run around 6:45 if you wanna meet up there.  Lemme know...PM me and I'll send ya my number...

Otherwise, we've got plenty of time before the 20th.  I'm also gonna do a bike/run brick on Wednesday....

Wow, '97 seems to be the theme lately. 3 of us graduated that year, and 97 mph is how fast Jeff runs.

Hwey old man, looking forward to dragging *** tonight on our run...good luck on the brick, if I had a bike I'd skip out of work early and ride with you...Class of 97, Jesuit was a fun place to run. I'll never forget the track there and I am making sure my two sons go there no matter what. Class of 2022...lol...we are getting old.

I knew Flash Gordon Speedy Gonzalez Jeff wouldn't leave you behind, he's a great guy. If I remember to hydrate this time, I should run a sub 30...we will see.

My brick form last night was moved to today, my son was at a point were he wouldn't let me leave. So I had fun with him, since I didn't wear my HRM I wont log it.

Sorry Adam about typing Andy, and awesome you enjoyed time with your son. Looking forward to the run with you on the 20th. I think I'll just hang with you for the most part and see how I feel. Hope you do well on your brick tonight. I am going to do a simulated tri myself tonight with all three events, not sure what it is called since it is a brick x two....lol...Well God's Speed!

you guys are making me feel so old, class of 85 here, Tommy went to East Bay '82.   Our reunion is thisyear because last year Hurricane Katrina literally crashed it so we're combining with Biloxi High 86.

Kid2 wants to go to Jesuit but right now it's something like 12,000 a year just for tuition. no way.    He's only in the fourth grade right now so that may change.

You and Jeff are not old. '85....I was in kindergarten......sorry that slipped. You are still both young enough to swim/bike/run faster than me. My wife and I were discussing our son's education 2 nights ago, $12K for one year of tuition?!? Sorry son, daddy needs a new bike. Since she is a teacher/administrator she'll be hand picking his teachers. That way he'll be getting the best education our tax dollars can get. Besides he is going to be needing running shoes, carbon fiber bike, and a wetsuit in a few years.

Vin, dont worry about the slip up. I've been called lots worse names starting with "A". It'll be nice to run with someone on the 20th. Just need to remember if someone gets in my way this time, don't go around, run them down. Heck I'm all talk......

Hey Adam, I am 100 percent Italian, we will let them swim with fishies if they get in our way on the 20th. Sub 30 minutes is the plan for both:-) We will have fun and a lot of food afterwords, yeah! The old farts, Jeff and Lucy will be ahead of us anyway...just kidding:-)

Nice thing about Jesuit, if you graduate from there your going to be someone, I'll work three jobs if need be for my boys to attend. Private school made a huge impact in my life. Seriously though education is the key for the future.

Well happy training, nice humidity today since the rain has ceased...We needed it, God's Speed.

You fool, You never insult my mentors. They are the ones controlling the amount of food and water available to us after the race. You are correct on education though, thats why we started a college fund as soon as our son was born. We figure to have about four children, and if all to go college on scholarships we get to cash out the funds for about 250K. That'll be some nice TRI shopping.

So Rich and Christine, are you planning on running the Secret Service 5K? Rich I hear its a great way to come off of a HIM. Remember I have no idea what I'm talking about.....

Hey Vinnie, wanna live in Land O Lakes? I have a house you can rent. It's brand new.

Private school - ugh. I have 4 kids in private school right now and it is killing me. But it is worth it. They go to the best school ever.

Jeff, us old people are cool. No worries.

YOU'RE NOT OLD!!! I feel better now.

You are Ironwoman and Ironmantobe; everyone knows that Iron status keeps you from getting old, and should inheret you a free beer everywhere you go. And yes, your coolness factor is off of the charts.

1 million hugs wont cut it. She requires you to name your first bike after her, and carry a sign equal to the size of Aaron's flag (the full 26.2 miles) stating that Jeff and Jess got you to IMAZ. Sorry Rules are Rules.

I have a question about the Secret Service Run: I have a friend who will be running next Saturday adn she wants to finish about 28 mins. Is anyone or know of anyone who she might be able to pace with. She (Becky) is the one that stayed with me and kept me going at Gasparilla.

Thanks all.

Jeff will agree, not trying to speak for him, but we both think my finishing time for this will be between 27:45 to 28:45, so I feel that I could run with her. Decision is ultimately up to her, but I am offering:-)
