Those strawberries look amazing!!! I would have eaten all of them!!

I did really good yesterday, ate normally. Got in a 4.5 mile run in the morning with my pooch so wasn`t to bad. I probablly ate more calories than I would have liked but I can make up for it today.

I also get hungry from more workouts, but you need to replace it by eating small meals. Are you having a protien shake once a day? They help me so much to curb my hunger when I workout more.

Monday morning roll call -- I hope everyone had some success this week with eating well !!

Today: 179 lbs, down from 181 last week.  I think I'm rehydrated after yesterday's 4-hour ride in the 90 degree temps, but there's a chance some of that drop is lost water weight.

Not the trend I was hoping for!  I did a 7 mile run Saturday but woke up with a sore hip Sunday and rested.  I'll take today off too and hopefully I'll feel better tomorrow.

Kinda in neutral this week.  Somewhat of a moral victory given the holiday and my daughters Bday on Friday.  No way I pass on home made chocolate cake!  Still down over 38# since late Feb.  Looking for a better week this week .

136.6  i will take it! Another pound off!

I had an okay week, probably drank to much beer on the 4th so if I cut that out this week it should help. 6 more lbs until goal but would like to get into the 120`s just ...because!

taper and carbo loading.  Ok, and a little post race celebration.  But seriously 3.5 pounds in 2 day?!  I wasn't out of control, just not my usual completely in control.  Hoping it comes back off just as quickly.

In positive news - my team came in 9th out of 18, my swim was 1.2 miles and I finished in 47:02!

It isn't Monday, but I'll join the party.  For reference I am 6'3".

SW: 255 (Nov '11)

LW=CW: 213

When I started I never thought that sub-200's would be attainable nor look good on me, but now seeing myself at 213 I can definitely see another 20 coming off of my frame without looking haggard (if my body cooperates and the weight comes off the right parts, of course )  When I graduated HS I was only 175 and I definitely had that skin and bones look - don't want to get back to that level!

I may jump in here, I need some accountability and/or public shaming to get me back on track.

I'm 31, 6' and currently 222.  At one point I was down to 197 (and was also 260 at one point) but that was before kids when free time was in abundance.  This season is a running only season until my kids get a bit older then it's back into tris (they are 2.25 yrs and 8 mths).

Ideally I'd like to be 205 by my next 10K (October 28) and 190 by the start of next race season (June 2013).

I might after my workout today to see where I am befor we leave and then after the flight. Will be gone for 4 weeks but hope to check in with you guys now and then while I am away.

I raced on the weekend (took 4 min off my OLY time-- & going DOWN is always appreciated in that context...!)
BUT!
After seeing my race photos... YIKES.
Something's gotta change.
(I don't identify with the girl they caught on film!!)
 
So, I'm aiming to lose 30lbs.
This will take me from being borderline obese (according to my BMI) to within a "healthy" zone.
 
Funny... I feel fit & strong.
But I definitely don't look it.
(this will most likely help me get faster too)
 
I'll weigh in on Monday for the 1st time...
