Ditto. I'm pretty sure he spends the vast majority of his time sleeping in my bed... at least when I leave the door open for him.

Though, his bark is pretty mean, so I could claim that if he barks at something, he's working to protect the house.

ratherbeswimming - 2013-01-16 8:56 AM Can you buy single socks? I think I have my new business idea...

Or maybe an exchange where you can post what single socks you have and what you are looking for. Of course that would mean people being willing to wear secondhand or secondfoot socks.

Which single-sock owner would get the pair?  You'd need some way to establish priority (between two people who want the same sock, the person who had donated more than taken would get it, for example).

or perhaps by serendipity we'd discover a natural order in the universe whereby there are actually pairs of people who each have a single sock from a common pair of pairs; and they can make a mutually beneficial trade.

How about Red Hot Chili Peppers imitators?

Hey Cord.  What did you get?

I lost (really I was just too tired to go back up the hill to get them) my gascan Oakleys snowboarding so I got a new pair with the american flag as the side "O".
