Mine are on back order. Something about body fat % adjustment needed... estimated end of June delivery.

If I was a good little red soldier I would do abs every day.

In fact I'm tempted to do them every day anyway because the burn "hurts so good".

My trainer calls it 'feelin the luv'. I'm feeling it just fine from Tuesday. So I'll hit 'em again tomorrow!

Have a fun weekend everyone!

I bailed last week, my kid was in the hospital...I don't think I did much of anything...hospital food stinks, and I had guilt if I ate anything (he wasn't allowed to eat), I think that made me more tired than the stinking "cot" they let parents sleep on.

But I'm back on this week...still don't have ROCK HARD ABS yet...hey... wait, maybe I do... they are just covered in pudge.

Can we 'make-up' workouts? does our team get a better score if we do, or doesn't it count??

How's your little guy doing?  I bet you're BOTH glad he's out of the hospital.

You can 'make up' workouts. As I understand it, we each said we'd do X number of workouts by the end of the challenge. Each person who does all their workouts gets a point. They total the points, and I have no clue how it works after that given odd numbers on teams or whatever. I don't know if it helps us to 'overachieve' or not.

I checked out the latest data (up through May 26th) and you are right on schedule. On our disturbingly complex spreadsheet, Donto took your goal # of workouts (16) and prorated them back over the weeks. As of May 26th you were supposed to have 6.82 workouts and you had 7. As of today you're supposed to have 8.66. Since you did 2 workouts this week, you now have 9 total and are current. Yay you!! And here you thought you were behind.

Have a great weekend!

Leigh

PS I have ASICS too and I LOVE them!

Okay team members, as previously mentioned last month, here is an update to the challenge. In order to boost interest and aid some people out that have been stuck with injuries, poor health or like me, a lack of drive...so here are some new rules. I know, changing the rules so late in the game...but I am both Canadian and the Challenge Chief for this one so too bad!! Special halfway Core challenge update:

Up to this point "Teams Overall Goal met %" portion of the challenge calculation was limited to a person getting a '1' for 100% or greater goal acheivement, or a '0' for not getting your goal. We're changing this rule to give be able for you to have more than 100%, up to 120% max. Or if you just missed due to an illness or slight injury, but wanted to keep on playing, you can now get some credit for achieving at least 70% of your goal. So, the changes are listed below, hope this incentive helps!
1) you achieve <70% of your goal, you will get credit for 0% (previously 0% credit)
2) you achieve 70% to <80% of your goal, you will now get credit for 70% (previously 0% credit)
3) you acheive 80% to <90% of your goal, you will now get credit for 80% (previously 0% credit)
4) you achieve 90% to <100% of your goal, you will now get credit for 90% (previously 0% credit)
5) you achieve 100% to <106% of your goal, you will now get credit for 100% (previously 100% credit)
6) you achieve 106% to <116% of your goal, you will now get credit for 110% (previously 100% credit)
7) you achieve 116% or more of your goal, you will now get credit for 120% (previously 100% credit)

Great news!

Coincidentally, I've recently been flogged by my trainer inspired to do an extra ab/core session per week.

This works out nicely...

Go RED!!!
