I was waiting for confirmation of the MOST EXCITING update as of yet, from Barloworld's very own DMarkSwan:

Barlo Baby Xander is here! He was born at 9:50PM Monday night. 8lbs 5oz and 21 inches long. I had to leave mommy and baby tonight and didn't bring the camera home, so no pics yet. Thanks for the thoughts and prayers, it was a wonderful experience this time.

In other Barloworld news:

JoshKaptur continues to attack savage, multihour bike rides totally unbefitting a newly devirginated triathlete.

sf_biggestloser continues his Tour chase, undaunted, solely on a stationary bike.

DoloresM2 got her first pair of bike shoes and is clippin' in and out like a mad fiend!

zipp1, I believe, was the first Tour rider to finish all her pledged stages, AND did her longest ride to date as her first post-Tour ride.

wurkit gurl continues to set PRs on her bike courses.

TriAya went on her first group ride ever ... and even with cruiser bars, that stupid horn, and running shoes sans toe cages didn't get dropped. (Almost, but still not).

Team Gimp is hoping we won the Black and Blue jersey. Despite our various ailments (Breezy-shin splints, strained knee and ankle, Daspanglers-blood clot and impending knee surgery, Johnny Bee-stress fracture, OnTheRun-knee sprain) we managed to complete a total of 49 stages with an average of 12.5 stages per team member!

While I (Breezy) am healed, the rest of the team is still battling their injuries. Daspanlger's doc put off knee surgery for another month, Johnny Bee still hasn't been able to run (last run was June 26th), and just as OnTheRun flirted with declaring his knee healed he came down with a sinus infection.

Our final stats are attached.

hope this is ok? i had kept times/distances and stages for the first two weeks but then my job started. boo hiss! artemis rode through a stress fracture, shermbelle logged crazy miles and tri fat boy rode us all proud! he logged more than his 10 rides and was uber-enthusiastic through-out. congrats all cheese heads!!!!
