Hehe, you have a link to Cat in your log. That's cute.

OK, start with this:

<a href=".........">Sappho96</a>

Where it says .......... (inside the quotes) is where you put a link to Sappho's log.

So the line would end up looking like this:

<a href="http://beginnertriathlete.com/discussion/training/index.asp?memberid=32172">Sappho</a>

On this page, there is probably a line break after the "<a ", but when you paste it in your log, get rid of that break. The entire thing should be on one line.

(See the post below. I have it all on a single line there....)

ARGH! Ok, so I copied and pasted and deleted some stuff in hopes of not having a break in it..but it is broken and I don't know how to fit it.

I may just do the old fashioned thing and put the peeps on my blog with their avatar.

Thanks for the help though

Forget this post -- go to the next one.

I put the link all on one line for you.

You just need to copy and paste it.

No changes are needed...

Hi all!

I've got 4600 of my 10,000 yds completed already (whoops - even though I've only got half the month to play with, maybe I still undershot the goal a tad?). Hope everyone's staying warm and getting lots o laps in!

WOOHOO! I finally have a photo of a snowman!

Since it never snows here and we're in the middle of summer - This little guy is made out of the ice shaved off the freezer while we defrosted it last year.  he has pipette tip eyes and nose and pastuer pipettes for arms.  The Hat I added in Photoshop.  ^_^

that is the sweetest story light

i've done a not very pretty linky table thing in my log so you can all copy the code if you want. also the link on the sinister snowmen bit of the tabley/linky thingy is to the google spreadsheet i set up.  can you all just double check i have your names, distances, yards/metres correct and put in any swims to date.

if you don't like how i have set up the spreadsheet no worries...just let me know how best to change it.

ta

right i better go eat brekkie before my first swim!  i use the workouts in a binder and have a modified version of endurance 1 planned. how is everybody else getting on?

so my planned 2k didn't happen! but i did get chatting to a guy who swims with birmingham tri club and critiqued my stroke. lost count of my distance so have under-estimated my feeble 908metres, but am back at the pool tomorrow with a passport to leisure so i get half price swims

how's everyone doing?

I managed just over 10% of my December goal this morning. Considering it was my first swim in 2 months, it went well. Although, getting out of bed to head out in the 15 degree weather wasn't fun. I hope everyone else is going strong!

Hey everyone, great swims so far!  Last night I did 2250 yds (12.5% of my goal) for my first swim since....June??  I'm feeling it a little bit in my arms today, haha, but I'm not as sore as I expected.

Looking forward to getting in some good yds this month...

Hey guys...

Bad news, I'm going to have to drop out of the swim challenge.  Just got word from the doctor that I'm not allowed to swim at all for at least 2 weeks, possibly up to 4-5 weeks, due to a shoulder injury, so I won't be able to participate anymore!!  ARGH!!!

I wish you all luck! GO SNOWMEN!!

75 degrees? That's too warm for a snowman!
