Heya, team! Thought I would do a quick check-in. Not so much. Took me an hour to catch up with the 18 pages (!!) of chatter. It's definitely made my work night go faster. On the downside folks are starting to wonder about me - I've been laughing out loud way too much. Not a good thing when you work in a chemistry lab. They're going to think I've been swigging the ethanol. I suppose I'll share a bit about myself while I'm here. My name is Emily. I'm 31 and just finished up my first year of triathlon. My season ended rather disappointingly. The oly that I've been training for has been cancelled. Okay - time to get back to work. I'll leave you all with a little pink tiara goodness:

I had a great morning shopping today - I went to a sports store and bought some Asics runners for over 1/2 price - down from $210 to $99. BARGAIN!!! Now I have no excuse not to run, and hopefully my knees will stop hurting. I also bought some Skins compression tights for 25% off. I love buying things on special (so do all girls *lol*). I have found a cool whip picture as an avatar, but BT is being difficult and not loading it for me - its says "success" but then doesn't show the image. I'll have a go again later. I went to my running store yesterday (Saturday) and got fitted with some new shoes WITH my orthotics too so Im optimistic about spending some time on my feet OUTDOORS.... They shoes that I got were Nike Air Pegasus... in teresting... Ive been a Brooks girl for years so having a different brand is kind of scary as Ive been so attached to my Brooks for sooooo long! BUT... I deliberately drive an hour south to go specifically to this running shoe shop so.... I trust the owner who fits the shoes.. |

Poor ND... they've had a rough couple of years... I'd probably better shut my mouth b/c LSU likely won't have near the year they had last year... we're just not as experienced and deep as the past couple of years |
