We had hail and lots of rain and wind and thunder and lightening. Whooh!. We are all fine but, my race was cancelled due to hail. That worked out fine with me because I am still under the weather (bad pun here). |

MORNING GHOULIES. just a quick fly by. short but RIDICULOUSLY busy week this week. two appts for Joseph. one today. one Wednesday. hopefully a lunch date at some point this week, possibly two, possibly three.... my last chiro appt./assessment. trying to round up three letters of reference and an FBI clearance all by Thursday at the latest. my employee application file needs to be complete by April 7th if im gonna get approved by the board/start immediately. gotta get a crack a lacking! oh ya. fitting in swim bike and runs somewhere in there. the weather is supposed to be spectacular this weekend. i, of course, am STILL bikeless.  ah well. enjoy the day GHOULIES. stacieb |

I tossed and turned until 5am when I crashed hard with weird dreams for about an hour and a half. Totally blew any chance for a morning workout. And I'm headachy/sluggish. I need my beauty rest. It looks like there was lots of biking and running this weekend. WOOHOO!!! My weekend didn't go as planned, but they rarely ever do.  Some extenuating circumstances kept me out of the pool on Saturday. I did get to the park yesterday for a try at a run. It is 2 miles around the park. I started off speedwalking. Once I felt warmed up a bit, it was cold and windy out, I started a slow jog. I felt ok for the most part. There were a few small declines that my knee did not appreciate, so I walked those. For the most part I felt ok though. I only did 1 lap because I was not dressed for the weather at all. I didn't realize it was so windy out. Tonight will be a spin on the bike and tomorrow I'm going back to the park for at least 2 laps. I started a new blog, too. When I get home tonight and look up the link to it I'll add it in here. I fell like I've just been phoning in my workouts lately so I thought putting a blog out there that more people could see might help make me more accountable. Have a great day Ghoulies! So Ann(e) - I found a red stem and seat post for your bike as well. www.mud-usa.com They are just down the road from my house and I have them on my new bike - I think they would make a great addition  I'll have to look from home tonight.
