#2 north park: relatively quiet bike route around a lake

#3 streets of Cranberry: quiet ride on residential streets right outside the front door w a Starbucks stop 3/4 of the way through the ride

#4 streets of Cranberry + ride to/from the Y: ride on Hwy w a wide berm but i can get in a swim mid-ride and figure out how my Saturday commutes will take.

#5 streets of Cranberry + ride to/from the Y, past Starbucks on the way home....that or Mad Mex.

What I'm thinking is... try to get out of my house between 8-9 Saturday morning and head west. Find the expo and get my packet. Then go and try to find my hotel. Once all of that is accomplished, roam the greater Pittsburg area searching for my Queen!

Truth be told, the process will probably take way too long and leave me a substantial gap in employment but I'm definitely going to go to the initial testing. Wish me luck!

Just brutal..leaning into the wind and everything to prevent myself from getting pushed off the road...Was going to go a bit farther but I'd had enough when I was coming back in one direction!

Maybe the wind will be less intense in the morning? hmm...I have a clinical exam tomorrow at 11:30 but I might try to get a ride in if the wind is less crazy!

I did apply for 2 gov't jobs this morning, too. One of them is in Gettysburg. If I worked there I could ride one of my bikes to work!

everything in life can wait til later cant it??

im learning that lesson better than ever now.

im seriously contemplating a ride to the Y.

not my first choice as far as options but i think it would be a good test run to see just how long it would take me to get there and get back.

just have to figure out how to get my swimming sh^t there. (homes not a problem cuz i work tonight)

weekend to weekend when im working, i figured i would just leave a bag there after i work on Friday morning so that its there for me on Saturday, and then for the next few weekends any way i can just leave my stuff there to pick up when i work on Sunday.

BUT, today im gonna have to back pack it.

not a big deal. just got to figure it out.

i have this awesome backpack that sits diagonally across my back that i think i'll use instead one of those bags w the drawstrings.

i dont like stuff moving/shifting and getting in the way when im riding. im funny that way.

so its just taking the bare minimum so that im not carrying a lot of unnecessary sh^t back and forth.

though....my debit card for that DARK CHERRY MOCHA FRAPPUCINO LIGHT is ESSENTIAL!!

good thing its thin and light and theres a nice pocket in my bento box where it slips right in
