I've been up since 4:15 and I don't know why. We left the house at 6:30 for a soccer tournament today. Our guys went 1-1-1 for the day. Hopefully we'll know soon if they made it to the playoffs tomorrow.

We just got home at 6:22, so it was a very long day.

I just downed a slice of pizza, now I think I'm going to go take a hot shower. I think we'll all hit the hay early tonight.

Hi ghoulies.  I fell asleep after breakfast so I missed my run and p90x workout.  Whoops!

At least Iowa won today.  My brother left early so no late night boozing.  He's been having some girlfriend issues this week so he didn't think a night out drinking was the best idea.  I still haven't figured out how quite to tell him that she isn't worth it and he should get out of that relationship (all 3 siblings and 1 out of 2 parents agree), but oh well.  I figure he's a smart guy and will figure it out eventually and don't think it's my place to really tell him.

Anywho, promise to get my workouts in tomorrow!

Hi. I`m here. its been a bit of a gong show. I've kind of decided to go with my own schedule for the moment because trying to get everyone organised it a bit of a shmooze that I just don't have the patience for. So ya...

I might be back later might not.

PS. Its my birthday tomorrow. In case you forgot...:p

Have a good night.

Ooooh. I bought a necklace today from a street vendor. I like it.

Good morning Ghoulies!

Our boys made it to the playoffs today. Our first game is at noon. Our second game is at 3:10, or 4:20 depending on whether or not they win the first game.

Wish us luck!

Another day of soccer. I don't think it's as windy today as it was yesterday.

You?

Not entirely sure yet. I ran yesterday, so maybe an easy bike on the trail. Too nice to be inside, once it warms up just a bit. For now, I'm enjoying a latte from the coffee shop. No milk in the fridge, so I guess that means a trip to the grocery store is in order at some point. Farmers market as well.

Have fun at soccer!

A trail ride sounds great! Are the leaves still changing up there or have they past their peak?

They're changing but not really that pretty this year. I can't call it past peak, 'cause I don't think they ever really peaked. A lot just browned out and dropped off the trees. Still nice though. Fall is probably my favorite season. There is a *rails to trail* route north of here that I've heard is nice. I'm going to call a friend of mine who's done it to get directions and maybe company.

I made 8 cinnamon rolls for breakfast this morning.

Guess how many I had.

Absolutely 0!

By the time I got around to having breakfast they were all gone.

This could be a good thing or bad. Not sure which. I'm still trying to chase off a few pounds, so would have mixed feelings. I loooove cinnamon rolls. When I was a little girl, my grandmother made them from scratch. Today, the smell those Pillsburys bring back fond memories of her kitchen.

Morning, Ann and Kim.

I am hoping to go on a trail ride here. At the Biltmore estate. With wine after.

Well, since I'm rocking on memories from my childhood with Ann's cinnamon rolls......Robin, I can't remember if I ever told you that as a kid I went to camp pretty close to where you live. At least, I think it was close. It was called High Rocks, near Brevard.  We went to the Biltmore, but it was for ice cream.

I'd like to lose a few pounds, too, but they smelled really good. Having them made from scratch sounds even better though.

Very small world. The folks who own that went to college with me (Their parents owned it back then). Lots of our friends were councellors there during college years. It is about 45 minutes from here.
