Signed up for my first race of the season. A Century ride in April.
Signing up for another one, not sure what it's really called. Details to come. run/ride/run which is good this way I won't drown :D

Ankle's been good, once this snow is gone, I can try running again. Swimming still sucks... It's like throwing a rock in the pool

Don't know if anyone else is setting a monthly goal, but I liked having that to shoot for.  My training plan is really upping the ante for me this month.

March goal - Swim - 18000 yards, Bike 275 miles, Run - 100 miles

Hey group, I made it back from Florida, a little beaten up from my awesome crash, but ready for a big week.  Nice job everyone on goals!  I suck.  Though, you can't blame me as I made those goals before a coach took over my life.  I blame him.  But I did like that a lot more of  my workouts are getting a lot more intense. And I noticed the green square in my calendar today.  I'm a little scared.

February's totals:
Bike:13h 28m 36s  - 207.8 Mi (336 goal)
Run:10h 17m 48s  - 59.2 Mi (78.6 goal)
Swim:

4h 55m  - 12100 Yd (12,672? goal)

So february was a total bust for me. The film took over my life. So I could use some help (arss kicking) to not have a repeat this month.

Alright people, he asked for it.

So let's all take turns checking Joe's logs to see if he is in gear, and if not, let's drop him a little note to get him jump started!

How's that Joe? Laughing

For all the hard work you put into the film,  I would ythink you would want some people you know around the country to see it.  Yet, you keep the title a mystery to us...

Now, put down your computer and go for a workout.

Master's Class
8 x 50 @ :55
200 kick
200 pull
4 x 100 @ 2:00
3 x 200 @ 4:00
2 x 300 @ 6:00
1 x 400 @ 8:00

Tough master's Class today. I am worn out. I have not swam that distance since last year. Feet and calves started cramping towards the end.

I was at the gym today at 5am (ughhh!) and did a 900yd swim then hit the dreadmill for a near 5k run.  Not a bad way to start the day.  The last month, my runs have been getting stronger and stronger.  I also finally broke down today and got a pair of tri shorts.

Kido, big ups on the 24lb weight loss.  I'm on the same track, down 21lbs since Dec.  Best I've felt in a long time!

Swam 2500 at lunch.  I was feeling bombed from yesterday's double whammy (9.3 mile run and swim main set 20 x 75 main set at RPE 7).  Main set today was a 1500 and was able to hold 1:50 pace throughout.

Woke up at 5am to do a 75 minute run.  Wasn't sure I'd make it that long before breakfast, but it turned out to be a really great run.  My volume was cranked up this week, AND I seem to have plans every night of the week, so I'm getting a little tired.

Has anyone done any of those adventure races?  Like a Muddy Buddy, or Warrior Dash?  I"m apparently signed up for Tough Mudder, which is a total of 11 miles and like 15 obstacles.  Average finish time = 2:30.  I'm wondering if anyone knows anything I need to know.

Not sure really.  I thought 215, but that may not cut it.  I'm sort of letting the mirror tell the tale.  Idealy?  I would like to be closer to 200-205 for IMAZ.  Just that much less weight to lug around 140.6.

I honestly can't remember the last time I was under 210.  I was 190 in HS, but shot past 200 and 210 sometime in college SO many years ago.  Then just kept on going!

Congrats on yoru weightloss Jim.  I'm down about 18 since the new year and love it.  I feel like I wake up every day a little faster, which for me is a good thing.

15k race this morning on paved trails.  Started out way too fast, settled in to a 7:20-7:30 pace.  It was a very lonely race.  After the first 1/4 mile sprint was done, I was passed by 2 people the entire rest of the race anad passsed 2 others.  Aside from that I was running by myself.  1:07:25 time, 7:15 average.

Tomorrow is a 1:45 trainer ride.  Following that is putting up a back splash in the kitchen with my wife.  I am certain that that process will be more physically, emotionally, and mentaly taxing.

Hope everyone has a great weekend!
