i have an interview at 3 this afternoon.  at the Middle School for a paraprofessional job.

im trying to see if I can swing doing the para job during the day, during the school year and my MT job in the evenings and afterschool.  not sure its feasible...but im exploring the option.

the pay is not great but its steady/dependable work and i will be on my kids schedule.

im looking at having to pay a mortgage in 33 months so either my hours at my current job need to go up or im gonna have to go with something else.

its the nature of the beast in my line of work.  almost everyone has a 2nd source of income.  no one wants to pay benefits anymore.

ah well.  that's life.

fortunately im adaptable.  and willing to do what i gots to do.

we shall see.

Snowbike ride in the morning tomorrow, basketball, packing, baking (our youth and yours truly are heading to a Haitain church in NJ over the summer to do some missions work and we are having a bake sale to raise money to cover expenses so I will make some of my most awesome cookies ), and then heading off to the Big D and might even get extended to Denver and if that happens I will be staying the weekend

i almost slept in thinking it was a 2 hour delay again today.

good thing my kids woke me up in time.  geesh!

well there off to school and the client i usually see to today (9 to 2) cancelled at the last minute.

so i have unscheduled day to myself.


hmmmmm.  what to do what to do.

its cold but sunny outside.  i'll probably run/walk later on today.

I NEED SUNSHINE.

other than im just tooling around on the internet, researching self-esteem activities that my 'underlings' to do with my clients during their sessions.

i made my reservation at a campsite for our 2nd vacation this summer.

im totally psyched.  its just 40 mins up the road.  the state park next door has a annual regatta the weekend we made our reservations for.  PACKED FULL of all sorts of activities - kayaking, fishing, nature walks, et al.  AND fireworks!

the cabin were staying in is SERIOUSLY nicer than some motels ive stayed in.  the campgrounds have a heated pool and playground and bike trail to the State Park.

you can watch the fireworks from the campground.

i always LOVED our beach vacation but i ALWAYS wanted to try/do other things.  DH always put the kabosh on that.

this is the one upside of not being together anymore....now i get to do/take the kids to places i always wanted to go.  DC....camping....the SKIES THE LIMIT.

I am not thrilled. Inspecting Hospitals is NOT fun for those of us who are "body fluid intolerant". I do not like dealing with their emergencies, either. What is it with hospitals and crystallized ether and picric acid? (read shock sensitive and more explosive than TNT)

I need Kim and Melindy for this one.
