Alright. the hills have decimated my legs already today and I still have to finish off my bike time and do a run. I'm sleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeppppyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy.

How can the homeowner's do that? Was it a written agreement in the lease that they would only have to give 30 days? If there is a lease agreement then the landlord can not evict without a reason like they didn't pay rent/did something bad/etc until the lease is up....at least that is how stuff works up here. Or how I think it works...

Ann - Sorry about the housing situation you referenced. We've always been pretty lucky when we've had to move, but I've heard a lot of horror stories. This is the first time I've heard of someone getting shafted on a lease so soon before a move, but something tells me that with god folks like you around, it'll work out OK in the end. Keep us posted.

And CONGRATULATIONS Neal on a 5:34 70.3 today!!! Dude, I'm in awe...

Eye, eye sir!

Did my second bike and run. Just made myself some brinner. Eggs, sausage, toast and some fried tomatoes. Salt and protein...oh yes, oh yes.

Initially they were on a 2 year lease, then after that it was a month to month, because they didn't know how long they would be there. So since they are month to month legally the homeowner only has to give them a month to get out. Sucks. I know.

The homeowners didn't even wait until today, they stopped by yesterday afternoon with the paperwork. They gave my sister and her family until July 31, so they have 7 weeks to find a place to live for 10 weeks before they move to Hawaii.

This is really upsetting my sister. She has Crohn's disease and was supposed to have surgery in a few weeks. Now she is cancelling the surgery because she can't deal with that and the recovery while trying to move. It is putting her health at risk. Anyone want to help me give a beatdown to the homeowners?

Ann. Tell your sister to move in here. I'll drive up and help slap the owners and pack her stuff up. We have room if the kids double up. She can have her surgery and recover on the hammock. You will have to be here, too to help make her feel at home. I'll keep the pitchers coming. hope your little punkin head is feeling better.

I don't have to head out too early today, which is good because I had a bit of food poisoning last night. I couldn't pinpoint the exact culprit, so I returned it all

I'd also hoped to run this morning but the toe is really not cooperating. It doesn't hurt when I run, but is pretty sore afterwards. Guess I need to give it more time. Maybe a bike tonight.

Hi Ann! I've got an admin-errific day lined up here. How are things in PA?

Sunny and a high of 79 today. I was able to take a short walk over lunch. I plan on doing a little run/walk this evening.

How's it going in SoCal?

Not too bad. Taking a rest day but I'll at take a good long walk in later with the dog. Lots of silly paperwork-esque junk to catch up on (still) but that's the M.O. around here. Trying to figure out how I can get out of some training this Wednesday so I can ditch for my daughter's birthday.

You look a little feverish. Are you coming down with something?

Hey...finished my run and did a short spin on the trainer to loosen up my legs a bit...the run didn't actually feel too bad...but it was a bit slow.

Now I'm chilling in the lab...nothing really to do today...so I guess I'll play on here?
