wheel pics look great, glad things are starting to turn your way!!

While i am not really in the market for wheels anymore, i am considering these for a friends bike i am building, she wants aluminum rimmed carbon wheels, and yours fit the bill perfectly.

Sorry if it has been asked, but when are you figuring the pre order will be shipped if all goes according to plan??

And lastly, Thanks Chris, thanks for sticking with it and thanks for keeping us all up to date, it means a lot to a lot of us.

Thank you very much for the compliments.  We are finalizing all of our scheduling details with the factory over the next few weeks and will have accurate answers soon.  Information regarding shipping and our launch will be available soon.

We are really glad we stuck with it too!

We had a few polished samples come over.  Our wheels will actually be a matte finish by the result of a vote we posted on our blog a while back.  The majority of people chose a matte finish.  I personally think the matte finish looks better.

Thanks for the excitement!

Good luck with getting everything spooled up.

About the finish, if I had voted in your survey, I would have said 'matte finish' too. But, from the pics, I'd say the polished finished looks very good. I like the way the polished wheels look almost 'wet.' If you think about it, everybody and their sister has matte finish deep aero wheels. You guys should try something totally different. Something to consider ...

All the best,

As Henry Ford once said "If I had asked my customers what they wanted, they would have told me 'a faster horse".  Don't underestimate the marketing value of something that just looks a little different.  Those shiny ones are striking!  Think of the day that you're standing in transition and you can look around and see a dozen sets of dark black really shiny wheels- and be able to tell at a distance which ones are yours.

Oh wow- you've got those shiny Flo's!

Just a thought.  We don't really know what we want until someone tells us it's cool.  (helps if that someone is an attractive member of the preferred gender)

I think they both look great.  However with the matte finish and our decals I have to say the matte (in my opinion looks better).  Plus the majority of our voters wanted matte and we have to at some point make a decision and stick with it.

I hope you understand,

Haha!  Yes if an attractive member of the preferred gender makes a recommendation we often listen.  The shiny is definitely nice but the Matte finish was a clear winner.  We let our followers help create our logo since our first one wasn't a hit and... they were definitely right.  I think you'll be pleasantly suprised when you see the final products with decals.

All the best,

We are finalizing details but if all goes as planned the 2nd quarter is looking very promising.

We should have the details tidied up in the next few weeks.

I was just wondering how you will be rolling these out.  As with most new products there is a pretty frenzied demand right out of the gate.  My concern is not being fast enough on the trigger to get a wheel early in the season.

Are these batch produced with significant lead time between batches or will it be more of a perpetual thing?

One more question.  You state in your blog that ceramic bearings will be an option.  Will they be available in the first production run?

Each mold has a monthly capacity.  Details are being finalized and will be available very soon.  I suggest you sign up for our newsletter if you are worried about being quick on the trigger.  Pre-order/Launch information will be available through our newsletter.  After our first set of wheels arrive they will continue to arrive on a monthly basis assuming our sales volume requires that.  If at some point we outsell our mold capacity we always have the opportunity to create additional sets of molds to increase capacity.

To answer you question about ceramic bearings... They will be available during the pre-order!

Let me know if you have any additional questions,

Chris, lucky for you that I won't be able to buy wheels until later this year. But I think that's ok because it will probably be that long before you catch up on your back-orders. I personally would be very surprised if you didn't move at least 2 thousand wheels in the next 6 to 8 months.

Sorry if this has been asked/answered, or if it should just be common knowledge, but what are the main benefits of ceramic bearings?

Check out their blog, I believe they did an article on it.

On a separate note, are you going to have decals available in grey/black?
