I'm not sure about the kicking AZZ thing but i agree that what he wrote was wrong. Hence I left my two cents on that thread since it actually pissed me off to read it.

How did the cookling go Kendra? Cookies are in the oven now. The Cheeseball/cake is chilling. I'm going to try to "ice" it in about 30 min. hehe Im sure it will be a hit Course it's raining here. We don't get rain for months, but the night we have carrolling planned it rains. LOL YOu must have my weather.... I have a blue, warm sunshiney day here for the first time in awhile and Im going to spend it mostly indoors! hehe its meant to rain all through chrissie so Im not holding my breath right now! But it is nice to see sunshine.. I now carry sunscreen with me at all times!!! |

I'm heading up there tomorrow, it was supposed to be in the afternoon, but looks like everything will get pushed up some. If I didn't have stuff we had to get in the morning that we have to take up there, I would go tonight. Just lost my mom a year ago, and my stepmom this summer. I'm not ready for another. Please pray for my Dad and Dee's Dad. |

He desperately wants to be at my wedding in January. He keeps wanting me to make plans for the wedding, but honestly, I don't care about a stinking wedding. One day doesn't mean much to me. I'd rather celebrate the 45 YEARS that my parents have been married. That is so much more meaningful than a single day. My thoughts are with you during this difficult time. |

That is very haunting--my dad also has in-home care and my folks have been married 47 years. Day-by-day is cliche but such a helpful strategy ... I'm having a tough enough time right now, I can't imagine what it would be like with a wedding on the way. I'm tearing up now, but Dee, Kendra, everyone ... thank you so much for opening up and sharing. There is so much love and support here--it's always good to remember we are NOT alone and those closest to us on BT may be going through very similar things. May all our thoughts and blessings for one another be multiplied as we put them together ... |

The cookies we bake our from his grandmother's recipe. So I always call and let him know that "his" cookies are ready. The kids get to show off their hard work, too. We had a house full. Recruited two neighbor kids to come help decorate. Sent them home with a plateful of cookies. My daddy's one of my biggest supporters as far as the tri thing goes. I so hope he can come to Idaho when I do the Ironman. Sending more prayers for Dee, Kendra, Tracy and Yanti tonight. |
