So I finished my DU and had a lot of fun I took my DW advice and smiled all the way through and got some great times in. I ended up 4th in the DU with a time of 1:26:25. Well thats what the reader board said so Im going with that. Were still waiting for official results.

And today I just purchaced my first wet suit so I can start training for a tri this summer. And I found a pair of bike shoes that actually fit my feet so now Im going to need new pedals.

Dee-

Winning the challenge involves hitting 100% or having the hightest %age of the teams?

The winning team is the one with the highest percentage.

However, any team that hits 100% automatically "wins." So say three teams reach 100%, all three win.

But if one team is at 99%, and the others are all below that, then only the 99% team wins. The others incur the "penalty."

took today off so I could celebrate my NEW promotion I received today! I will now be leading a team of 8!! I am so excited for the new role and the challenge of leading a team! I also won an amazing raffle today so I just picked up an awesome basket full of over $600 in quality hair product! not too shabby for a Friday the 13th eh??

hoping for a surf or ocean swim tomorrow and might hop on the bike for a nice spin... trying to stay off the foot as I think I may have pulled a muscle last weekend!

Good work team! almost HALF way!

Congrats on the promotion!

Hmm...I've got a lot of catching up to do...

Ran and finished my half Ironman last Saurday.  About half way done with my race report...

Here's a few pics...trying to decide which ones to buy...

Congrats as well on the promotion!

Snuck a 9.7 mile run in to the gym.  Lifted and swam a little more than 1/2 mile.  Hope to get more swim time in tomorrow since it is Father's Day!

Happy Father's Day to all other dads as well and have a great weekend

Happy Belated Father's Day to all the dads!  I was busy recovering and Father's Daying.  I'll catch up with inspires soon...

geauxtri - 2008-06-14 9:58 PM I DID IT!!!  COmpleted my first race!!

1:36:03  ( which somehow got me a third place medal???)

Yep, it was a small race that was poorly advertised.  Wasn't a fancy job, you had to watch your own watch for splits.. all they recorded was overall time.  But I'm happy and my 5yr old was even happier parading my medal around today

Congrats Heather!

I saw 10 houses today - does that count for anything?

Were there lots of stairs???

Any nice kitchens???

every last one of them had stairs and two of them had nice kitchens!

So are you finding anything that peaking your interests and making you go back?

actually there are 3 houses today that I'd like to go back to

I think we are narrowing in

This would be the new Nibbs/BT party house, correct?

I'm finally feeling a bit better, though I still have a bit of chest and nasal congestion. Obviously, since half the month is gone, I need to adjust my goals, but I am back in the saddle today.

I have a tiny workout with the running team that I am leading and then I am going to do a bike/run brick.

Wow, Gary, busy weekend for you!!

So does 3 hours of tearing out carpet and scraping rubber matting that was glued down (excessively glued IMO) count as strength training?  I could hardly move my arms afterwards.  Did that last night instead of working out.  Things are getting desperate at our house w/o a washing machine, so gotta focus on getting the laundry room and hall tiled and painted and cabinets hung.  Or I could train and go shopping for clean clothes instead

I WILL catch up on my goals this week regardless!!  Swim and bike this evening, even if it's raining.  I need to HTFU.

I'm used to that! I have TERRIBLE allergies, so being outside riding is DISGUSTING....drip, drip...ok, that's enough!

Congratulations to everybody that raced this weekend!

Way to go Sal, nice first HIM! Heather, way to take home some hardware on your first tri.

I've been off the net for the last few days, so I've just updated the my log and the spreadsheet now.
