ebshot - 2009-08-10 7:30 PM We got our closing date.  Aug 20.

THAT IS 10 FLIPPIN' DAYS FROM NOW!!!!!!!!!

Yikes.  We still have to get through the inspection on Wednesday but holy cow, I can't believe it is gonna happen.  Well, might happen.

HOLY CRAP THAT WAS FAAAAAAASSSSSSTTTTTTT!

fingers and toesies crossed all goes well.

stacieb

No kidding!  It all hinges on what happens tomorrow.  I'm starting to stress a bit but trying not to.  No point, right?  It's not gonna change anything!

stress does nothing but give you headaches, heartburn and gas.

so yes, NO POINT!

BUT OMG that is FLIPPIN' FAST, ERICA.

like make your head spin im gonna puke on my shoes FAST.

man when you move forward you dont MESS AROUND.

id be dowin' the Pepto right now.

hope all goes well today.

what's happening exactly?  (sorry i think im a step behind/lost.  thats my perpetual state physically and mentally! LOL)

is it the inspection?  your not closing today right?

your offers been accepted i know that.  contingent on the inspection?

oh dear selling/buying a house is SO complicated.

im glad ive only had to do it a few times.  UGH.

have a happy, stress-free (or as close to it as possible) day.
stacieb

Today is just a phone call day.  Tomorrow is the BIG day.  Full of appraisals and inspections.  It all hinges on tomorrow.  I know it will work out fine.  Just hard to believe we'll be homeowners in less than two weeks!   Good thing is, we'll have two weeks to move and clean this place before we have to turn our keys over.  Plenty of time!

heres to the phone call and the BIG day tomorrow ALL going splendidly, ERICA.

two weeks to move, plenty of time.

holy moly.  id be losin' it.

you've got it together, thats for sure.

let us know how you fair.

ebshot - 2009-08-11 8:11 AM I got my run done early today.  The humidity was NASTY.  I have never sweat that much before.  I had 3.5 to do and I ran 4.    I have run more this month than I did last month!    Starting to get my groove back.  Tomorrow is a 35 minute tempo run.  Oh for joy!

HOW ERICA GOT HER GROOVE BACK.

sounds like a good book....or movie.

LOL

eeked out 4 when you had 3.5 to do.

wooo hoooo!

GROOVE BACK INTACT!

I love leftover cold pizza.  Nothing better. We almost had pizza for lunch but opted to just eat stuff here.  I went with a salad, bagel and soft pretzel.  I was famished!

I'll take your java chip frappuccino anyday!  Yum.

i love cold pizza too!

so no Jeff that does NOT make you weird.

see.  you're in good company.

i passed on the pizza and had a bagel and peaches for lunch.

and here, you reminded me ERICA, i completely forgot my veggies w your salad.

oi.

well double veggies for dinner tonight.

i refuse to cook this week.  too much to do what w laundry and packing and getting the house ready for refinishing the hardwood and new carpet.  i have to move all the little stuff.  do you know how much little stuff i got??  enough to fill two-three moving boxes.

i need less stuff

aand why waste any extra time i have cooking when i need to be here on BT yakking it up, right?

conned hubby into bringing home Subway last night, and Boston Market tonight.

what will it be tomorrow?

probably Chinese.

im such a sloth.

but im gonna be a totally tanned sloth by the end of NEXT week.

see.  im taking this hiatus thing VERY seriously.

theres still a few pieces, when you coming over JEFF.

oooooh.  chimichanga.  i havent had one of those in like forever.

maybe this year when we go to the beach i will.

now THATS weird.

go to the beach and eat mexican food.  theres a greek place we love too.

my husband and i arent huge fans of seafood, plus after a few days of it, even at the beach, you get a little tired of it, doncha know.

as for the craving FRUIT LOOP thing.  crack me up.

you can come to my house we usually have FRUIT LOOPS in the pantry.  though i think were OUT right not.

we have Honey Nut Cheerios.  not the same....

sometimes i get a craving for LUCKY CHARMS or CAPTAIN CRUNCH.

must be a when i was a kid thing....

i highly recommend a 'controlled indulge' when a craving strikes.  if i restrict, then i crave it even more and id be tempted the entire box of cereal.

maybe one of those small boxes in the variety packs.  that way you eat the box (well, not the eat box) craving is satisfied, moving on.

i get that way with MILK DUDS too.

manohpete, now you've got me craving all this stuff.

thanks a lot Jeff, you jerk.

i just looked up on Runners World....

if i want to run a sub 2 hr 1/2 marathon, i have to run a 8:48/mile pace.

does that sound right??

manohman that's faster than i want to run.

but id really like a sub 2.

may have to re-evaluate.

plugged in the data on the coolrunning race pace calculator

and it spit out 9:00 min/mile average pace to achieve 1:58.

thats sounds more doable.

Hi teamies!  I'm going to try to get caught up, but I'm having issues with my computer.  Logging my training is going to be hit and miss!  I HATE being computer-less, especially when I'm on travel and don't have much else to do.  Right now I'm sitting in the common area at the hotel (trying to get caught up on work stuff), but I can't sit here all night!  Anyway, have a great week everyone!

Hey everyone -- just got back from my afternoon "therapy".  And boy did I get lots of therapy -- started with shopping therapy, added a little movie therapy (Harry Potter!), then finished with dinner and wine therapy. Great afternoon!  But now I need to head to bed... race tomorrow (so why did I drink two glasses of wine with dinner???).

now that sounds like a fun filled day! hope your race went as planned...

looked didnt see the race report....did you do one?

Not yet...

A sub 2 hour half mary, huh, Stacie?  Go you!    I am aiming for a pr if I do mine.  I would really like a 2:15 but think 2:20 would be realistic if I get my training pulled together.  I need to look and see if there is another half a bit later in the fall.  I'd love to come out and do your's Stacie but I bet Bry won't let me.  He's a party pooper!  Something about buying a house and all.

Afternoon team.  Pretty much wrapped the basement clean out process.  Time to relax until 9:00pm tonight when my buddy shows up with his dump trailer and the driveway gets cleared out.  Glad we are not packrats and now we are even less of packrats.

My DW asked if I would rather be cleaning out the basement or sitting around work and I told her she would not understand but I much preferred the physical work of cleaning out the basement.  She just laughed.

Football practice with a 4 mile run thrown in then tomorrow it is back on the bike - yeah!

Got a great nap in also - which  was awesome - I love naps - I think they should be required by law daily!

I love naps - I think they should be required by law daily!

DITTO TIMES A GAZILLION SQUARED.

and glad you had a productive day cleaning out.

you never said (or you did and im the BIGGEST GOOBER, and missed it)

whats with the cleaning out your basement?
